GGG:'If I look terrible, he's[Canelo] ready'

"If I look good, he's not ready yet. If I look terrible, he's ready. This is his strategy, Golden Boy strategy," Golvkin told the Los Angeles Times.
"Maybe, sometime, maybe. Why not? Good strategy [to get Canelo]," Golovkin said while laughing
But if Brook really box his ears off ??

Maybe GGG will intentionally make it a close fight to trick Oscar into thinking he's slipped and will allow Canelo to change out his diapers into boxing shorts to fight GGG.

Maybe Kovalev did the same thing in his last fight so Ward wouldnt find an excuse to back out of their scheduled fight. :)

Canelo will be ready when Oscar convinces him he is. He needs to redeem himself, so to speak, for his coward-like move. I actually think it will be a pretty decent fight, but apparently him or Oscar doesn't think so just yet. I hope Canelo stays at 154 at least one more fight to take on Andrade, but doubt if he will. I think GGG moves up after this year, and makes Canelo follow him if he truly wants it.

BJS, Canelo, Jacobs and CEJ wait for GGG to retire.

Based on what Tom Loeffler has been saying, the Canelo-GGG bout won't take place until the provisionally-agreed September 2017 date, regardless the quality of Golovkin's performance against Brook next weekend.
So I'm going to take the K2 chief at his word and ignore any hype-building WWE-style fictional "grudge match" nonsense monologues for the time being.

The reality of the situation is that Ward and Kovalev had already provisionally-agreed to face each other prior their warm-up bouts, but if you find your version of events more interesting, because your derogatory fictional story concurs with your preferred anti-Ward narrative, then go ahead... believe whatever you want if it improves your life somehow.

If your panties weren't so tightly bunched the following fact might have occurred to you - You can't back out of something if you haven't already agreed to it.
There is still time for Ward to back out because we are at a point in the time between him agreeing to the fight and the fight taking place.

On the 28th April, 2016, Egis Klimas (Kovalev's manager) confirmed the following:
“The contract has been signed between Kovalev vs Ward. They both have one more fight before they meet, Sergey will fight [Isaac] Chilemba on July 11, not sure when and where Andre will fight,” he said.
“If everything will go as planned they should meet November 19.”
Back in April, Klimas quoted the 19th November as the "planned" date, which is now the confirmed official date, but at that moment in time, the venue was yet to be finalised.

As I’ve already stated previously, the Canelo-GGG bout won't take place until the provisionally-agreed September 2017 date, regardless the quality of Golovkin's performance against Brook next weekend.
Promoters Oscar De La Hoya and Tom Loeffler met in Los Angeles at the Golden Boy Promotions offices and have already verbally that the Alvarez and Golovkin bout will take place in September 2017.
Therefore, please refrain from wholeheartedly buying into attention-seeking sound-bites, as they're simply a ploy to gain publicity to advertise next year’s GGG-Canelo super-fight.
Let’s be honest, it’s in Oscar De La Hoya and Tom Loeffler’s best interests to delay the GGG-Canelo super-fight for as long as possible, in the hope that the public demand for the bout will build into Mayweather-Pacquiao-esque proportions.
Alvarez and Golovkin are “PRIZE fighters” not “PRIDE fighters”, so if delaying their bout ultimately results in their fight purses being increased by another $10m or so, then they’ll
both be utterly delighted by any postponements.

NO. Golovkin would fight Canelo and BJS ASAP, as he is a PRIDE fighter more than a prize fighter.

If your claim about Gennady not being interested in money is “true” and Team GGG are being 100% honest in their claims that Gennady can compete at weights between 154lbs and 175lb with ease is also “true”, then:
• Why won’t Team Golovkin accept a smaller portion of the fight purse to face Canelo and/or Cotto at 155lbs?
• Why won’t Team Golovkin accept a 50-50 split of the fight purse to face Ward at 168lbs?
• Why did Golovkin stop competing as an amateur, with an aim to capturing Olympic gold, if he wasn’t a “PRIZE fighter”?
Stop ascribing moral principles to someone that you don’t know at all!

Do you have comprehension problems? I said that "he is a PRIDE fighter more than a prize fighter", not that he is not interested in money at all.
Enlightened-One wrote:

Because he is a MW and wanted to have title fights at his weight. He was ready to accept a smaller purse, but not catch weights in title fights.
Enlightened-One wrote:

Because, as everybody else, Ward only calls GGG out when he already has a fight scheduled. Also, who wants to deal with Ward ??? Main Events just "enjoyed" that for months.

Your "knew" isn't worth sh*t. You clearly lost this one. By the way, do you realize that you are on ignore lists of most active posters of this forum? I am one of few ones who is still trying to deal with your sh*tty posts.

I learnt that attempts to make you feel dumb are unnecessary. A signed contract doesn't magically make something happen in the future. Have you ever heard of someone being taken to court for breaking the terms of a contract? Think hard and get back to me (clue google the names Andre Ward & Dan Goossen).

Lol fights happening honey, you can keep praying it doesn't and hoping another extremely rare situation happens to justify some embarrassing want or need that's fine. That's you. Doesn't mean a thing, just another empty thought.

Brook is a great boxer, 36-0 and never hurt or down... Golvokin is an underrated boxer... I think this is going to be more of a boxing match than a fight... but there's going to be a lot of heavy exchanges... because both guys will be in the shape of their lives... GGG will win the boxing match.

Wasn’t Kell Brook technically floored and hurt slightly during the first round of the Karl David fight? Didn’t Vyacheslav Senchenko hurt him with a couple of decent shots at separate moments in the fourth round of their fight? What about Carson Jones repeatedly hurting Kell Brook during his first bout with the Brit, with the Sheffield fighter being moderately fortunate to walk away from that fight with his unbeaten record intact?
