Confident Brook.

I've been really impressed with Brook in the build up to this fight. He's seemed happy, confident, engaging and really seems to believe he has a chance here. Admirable for a guy with such a daunting task in front of him!
What do you guys put this confidence down to? Is it the fact he's the underdog and not expected to win? Is it not having to boil down to 147? Do him and Dom Ingle know something most of us don't?

You know, I'm starting to wonder the same thing. He's big as well and looks in shape. And he's at home. So... Nah, I still can't see it. Maybe Brook and his team know better though.

I agree. The money certainly makes things easier.
He is unbeaten as well and most unbeaten fighters have that confidence about them. Remember Roman Greenberg before his first loss? or Pele Reid? They strutted around like a cockney on hot coals. reality soon set in though.

Looks in shape? He looks soft, puffy and carrying extra bodyfat. He looks in shape compared to some guy you see in the pub. He looks utter dogshite compared to what he should look like when in sharp shape

To paraphrase Mike Tyson, everybody's confident til they get punched in the mouth
Hope Kell's getting mega bucks because he'll never be the same again

He is confident because he has nothing to lose, if he was facing Spence in five day's he might be a bit more uptight.
A knockout loss is not a disaster for his career, he will still be a world champion and will always get the applaud (which he deserves) for stepping up two weights and facing a monster like Triple G.

He's confident because he's unbeaten, never been decked, won a world title in the other guy's backyard, always somehow finds a way to win - he must literally feel like superman - he's had his whole camp telling him how bloody great he is for the last few years, he won't even be able to imagine losing, thinking that the punches from this overrated fella are just gonna bounce of his chin...no problem at all.
I said earlier that GG will be over confident, but the problem may be that Kel is too.

Nah I know what you're saying mate. Couple of times I've seen him in the build up I've thought the same. He must be fit and flying in the gym but. What you reckon?

What are the current uk odds? I can see a bunch of casuals eating up matchroom/skysports propaganda and whacking a load of money on brook this week. Wonder if that will get GGG close to evens come fight night as I will go big on GGG. Anyone who thinks brook wins need there head checking.
