He looks like a marketing exec without the nose.

I was hoping to see him play fagin in a new stage version of Oliver Twist some time soon.

On which note, my mate Nicky Holloway, of Ibiza fame, is the spitting image of Fagin.

I've saw him in Ibiza a few times :TU: Not in a long time now though. My Ibiza days are a thing of the past!

He lives with his old mum in Bracknell, hit hard times, was living above my local for quite a while, which was a total nuthouse, is actually getting quite a bit of work now, as there's a huge house scene revival, lots of young 20 somethings are discovering it for the first time. He was minted back in the day, had it all, and lost the lot on a dodgy business arrangement with his business partner, who sold everything out from under him.

Was he not a kind of pioneer of the trance scene, especially in Ibiza?

He was one of the four DJ's that brought back house music to the UK, went to Ibiza and heard DJ Alfredo play, and disovered MDMA for the first time, and him and Oakenfold, Danny rampling and one other came back and started the scene in London.

He was a real pioneer. Right tosspot when he's drunk though, almost belted him a few times. Lovely guy when sober though.

Fair play to Froch, he doesn't look like somebody who was in a lot of tough fights and took a lot of shots.

He also looks in good nick so probably keeps fit and has a good diet - not to mention he has a lovely pompadour (the was ginger and now bald George Groves must be fuming!).

Considering the wars he was in and with a big conk, it shows how good he was to look unmarked.

Oh Carl, what's he done haha!!

Looked like a rugged, normal bloke before, now looks like some twonk off TOWIE. It's weird, doesn't look like him, just looks like a generic man.

Does look like they've gone to town on him a bit, took a load off the nose, botoxed the fod and also the orange makeup. Deary me.

I could be wrong but I think it takes quite some time for the scars / bruising caused by cosmetic surgery to disappear.

Has he not made any public appearances or been seen out and about for a while ?

I don't think that's the case any more, mate.

I've spent the last 20 years mainly in California & Florida - where plastic surgery is the norm - and workmates have had sh!t done & are back at work within the week.

I don't begrudge Carl getting it done. He was insecure about his hooter I'm guessing aside from possible breathing difficulties he might have been having.

The fact he nearly always took on very tough comp and imo certainly earned the money he ultimately made- I say good luck to him.

I know people who've gotten nose jobs and the obvious bruising can disappear in about a week, although the nose remains swollen for longer.
