Think it's come to the point where Eddie needs help, constantly brainwashing himself tonight 3 world title losers , got to be the worst sky show ever for results for matchroom. Thought he would have learned his lesson after the Quigg show but obviously not Brook was never going to win tonight , Eddie was living in DREAMLAND .

His fighters did fine.
Hearn won't be too unhappy.

You'd rather see knockovers for the house fighters then.

100%. He's gone from being a bloke who couldn't fill a church hall to a marquee fighter and national hero.

Nonsense. Hearn would have known from the beginning that those fighters were all unlikely to win. He should get credit for making the fights in the first place.

Yes , he takes enough stick , so fair play.

True although it was either move up to 160 and fight Golovkin and get a big payday; but an inevitable beating- OR stay at welterweight and fight your mandatory Spence jnr, and possibly lose, and also maybe get stopped, and probably not make much money in the process. I thought Brook performed well tonight though and put on an admirable display.

You're complaining that Hearn isn't putting his guys in easy enough fights.

Never fully rated brook...but changed my opinion completely tonite. Actually thought he could have won that fight tonite. Golovkin is full in at all times brooks pushes him back he would have won it. Eubanks know how to do it.
Fancy him big time to beat golvokin. Whos a tremendous fighter but with big weaknesses. Stamina for one.

Why do you think stamina is a big weakness of GGG's? I've never seen him seriously gassed and he puts a lot into his shots.
Why so confident that Eubank wins that? Jr. has faced one top ten opponent and he lost....it's one thing to look good against British level guys like O'Sullivan, but another beat P4P level fighters like Golovkin. That said, one thing Eubank Jr. has going for him is those combinations, as I think GGG's looked most vulnerable when opponents stand their ground and let their shots go in bunches.

Complain when Brook fights Brazier, Dan and Gavin. Complain when he fights GGG. Dare to be great I say.

I like to see fighters challenge themselves, although I did think it was a bit odd that a tyro like Edwards (turned pro last year!) was matched with a very experienced and proven world class fighter in Casimero. For me that definitely fits the category of being injudiciously rushed into a fight

I don't see anything wrong with Triple G's stamina myself. Not yet anyway. He fights in such a high octane way. His opponents are going to need serious stamina because he is on them every second of every round and they can't afford to let him tee off.

Isn't sad that Brook had to get his arse busted in order to be appreciated for being a good fighter?

x2. Nobody lost really last night. Despite all the criticism you could level at it I think last night was brilliant for both boxers' careers and brilliant for boxing in the UK in general. It's easy to be negative and a lot of the time is justified in this sport but a lot of good will come of that fight last night.

Me too.
It's all the more disappointing that he has feasted on horse sh!t for the last two years in a division that is stacked.

Eubank will get battered. He ain't quick with his feet like brook nor has he got the boxing skills like him. If Eubank stays in front of Golovkin he will get battered. Golovkin gets caught a lot but his chin is granite and Eubank is not a banger. Easy nights work for GGG

The problem with golvokin is hes all in most of the time. Except for the brief breathers he takes. Hes getting older. Its not the his stamina is bad its that he excerts himself too much and is a sitting duck when the pace slows. His style of fightings suits a younger man. Eubanks will beat him a year from now

I agree, Hearn should just set up cards full of fights where his guys are guaranteed to win and not be challenged or take on the best

I would've thought he was most satisfied with last nights proceeds, a full O2 and umpteen PPV buys. Brook can get a mega fight against Khan next year and the other 2 were never top of his attractions

Good points, he's 34 now, although he looks 10 years younger. Hasn't really been in a hard fight but he has shipped a few shots here and there. I'd start worrying about his stamina when he hits 37+.
I think the thing about last night was that he could see the effect his punches were having and he felt that Brooks power wasn't really troubling him that much so he was right up on Brook all night. He fought that way because he had the strength, chin and power advantages. He's been more reserved and conservative in other fights. You wouldn't see him employing the same tactics against bigger punchers. I mean, he does that vs someone like Julian Jackson or McClellan and he'd be sparked out within 30 seconds.
