So, um, where are all the BoxRec "geniuses" who predicted that Brook would win?

Golovkin dominates and stops Brook in 5 rounds, a somewhat embarrassing TKO loss for Brook and his team in front of his own English fans. Brook deserves credit for taking the fight when others avoided GGG, but it was clear he was outgunned and his trainer saved his career and possibly his life by stopping the beating he was taking in round 5.

Before the fight, there were a number of self proclaimed "boxing experts", and "future predictors" on this site who stated that Brook would win the fight, and would pull the upset over GGG. Where are these guys now and what do they have to say for themselves? Where are all these "winners" and "boxing experts" now when we need them eh?

Jezzamundo, SFW, StrapMeUp I'm reaching out to you "boxing experts" on the forum.

The huge majority picked GGG.....barring Twitter casuals, I saw maybe two or three picks here for Brook.

Most people on forums go missing when they're wrong on a bold prediction. People are very thin skinned sometimes I guess.

I'm predicting Carlos Cuadras to pull the upset on Chocolatito tonight, and if I'm wrong, I'll still be right here to talk about the fight anyhow. Wouldn't be the first time I was wrong, won't be the last.

I predicted GGG would win via stoppage, so I'm not sure what you're on about. It was a good, competitive fight up until the stoppage, but GGG was wearing Brook down and his corner saved him from a bad knockout.

What fight were you watching? He was ahead on points.

Brook shouldn't have been ahead on points if he was. He won the 2nd round clearly. 3rd round was close, I scored it for Golovkin. Rounds 1 and 4 were clear Golovkin rounds. If Brook was ahead on any card the only explanation is incompetence.

HBO's Harold Lederman (American feed) had GGG ahead 3 rounds to 1 at the time of stoppage.

Russian feed also had GGG ahead 3 to 1 at the time of stoppage.

If the judges had Brook ahead, that reflects badly on them and the entire event. Maybe Eddie Hearn's plan was to fix the scorecards?

Perhaps, but it's a cunts trick to crow so loudly that you start threads to do it. This is particularly bad given that GGG was a huge favourite, so well done I guess for backing the more than obvious favourite. I will look out for AK's boxing knowledge in future.

I had it 3-1 GGG as well

They sure are, and those who do show their faces usually attempt to twist things around after the event.

Thing is GGG took it out of the judges hands inside 5 rounds. So the scorecards are absolutely irrelevant, regardless of who might have been ahead on the them. About as useful as yesterday's fish and chip wrappers.

Yep, these boxing "experts" like jezzamundo, SFW, and StrapMeUp either try to deny that it happened in the first place, or they twist their words around to make it seem like something other than it was. Or they simply go AWOL after theyve been proven wrong. It's important that we point these phonies and fraud posters out to the other posters so that we know who we're dealing with here.

Hopefully by doing that it will help to sort this site out, get things really cleaned up around here and sorted out :TU:

The people who picked Brooks to win are probably the same Americans who are going to vote for Hillary! DUMB ASSES!

I didn't say Brook would win but I did say he'd be GGG's best opponent ever, and I believe he was.

Seems like a whole lot of people think 3G carried Brook. I disagree. If not for the eye it was competitive, imo. Brook made 3G miss a lot. He backed him up at times. He countered brilliantly.

3G claims that he was not fazed by Brook's shots. But 3G looked winded at points. He put an awful lot of effort into that 5th round onslaught. If Brook could have survived it . . .

Maybe Brook should've thrown back, put his hands up, and stopped sagging against the ropes for support then. He was also, by his admission, seeing four Golovkins by that point.

His actions and words post-fight give me little confidence that he would've had much success if his corner had let it continue.

If he could have survived it. There probably would've been another one like it in the next round. I'm not sure he would've made it out of the 5th without hitting the canvas without the towel coming in when it did.

Look at the way he came out in the third, he was angry. He's been very composed in his fights before this, Brook hurt him and his angles and distance gave GGG something to think about. I thought it would be a walkover, I'm glad Brook equated himself well, I'm a little disappointed GGG wasn't a little more honest, we all saw what happened. I don't think he expected it from Kell.

The guy did once do a notoriously legendary fake round by round on here, I forget which fight it was, it may have been Froch v Bute. Funny as.

I remember, I forget the fight too. TML is a cock, everyone knows it. Still, crowing big when picking the winner of a very obvious to pick fight is shocking, even for this place. No one sensible could make a case for Brook winning this, not even TML.
