Ok, so Harrison wants Barrera in the New Year. He's fighting in September against a yet unnamed opponent.
Who will it be, not who SHOULD it be. Come on who is Maloney going to ACTUALLY line up.....
Possible candidates:
Vuyani Bungu 37 year old former Hamed foe - holds the IBO title.
Victor Polo 34 year old veteran?
or other veteran Ledwaba?
Just some ideas...anyone got an inside track?

Priest Smalls has a certain ring to it.....Cook maybe? No shortage of obscure fighters for Frank to choose from.

Yeah, there's no way it will be Polo. He's way too dangerous. Harrison defeated his mandatory last time out so this next defence will be against a real body bag.

Who the hell is abazi, never heard anything of him before. Harrison deserves an easy defence I think.

Does anyone know anything about Abazi? I'm looking at you Freiheit!!!
Looking at the record, there seems to be very few instantly recognisable names, and no amazingly striking performances. He's also flirted with Bantam several times, so going out on a limb, i'd imagine Harrison to have a reasonable size advantage come fight night.
I wouldn't be overly shocked if he was the easy defence lined up.

Abazi outboxed Ledwaba in his last fight. Abazi is a come forward fight with ok power. Team Palle are lining up a fight vs Chris John, in Jakata, for Abazi.
My guess is that it will be Samuel Kebede. Kebede is undefeated and his manager/promotor MS&E (Steffen Tangstad) just got closed down by the mother company (Viasat) so Kebede is a free agent. Kebede was one of the fighters considered as a replacement for Abelyan but it had only been a couple of week before that, that Kebede boxed 8 rounds on the Calzaghe vs Armenien guy undercard so Kebedes team turned the fight down. I also think, on paper, that Kebede will be an easier, but different, fight than Abazi.
