Brook gave up

After the 4th round, Brook simply decided to stop fighting and waited for his corner to end it.

He showed up for the money and made sure not to get badly damaged.

The broken bones is probably a fake, so he doesn't get crucified in the press.

Can't say i blame him, although he did yap a great deal about how he was going to get into Gennady's face.

Absolute garbage.

Who in the right mind would fake an injury against GGG? Just take a dive if you want out, far safer and would get him no disrespect.

Ridiculous thread. Guy steps up two weight classes to fight the most avoided fighter going and still gets grief? Turn it in ffs!

I don't suppose Brook had a chance to take a dive when severely wobbled in the first did he...? Of course hang on and make a fight of it must indicate he only wanted the cash. :brick:

Let's not knock the boxing critics who say Brook should have fought on.

They hit their keyboard pretty hard.

Only a fool reckons brook gave up

He was beat up by the naturally bigger and better man.

Divvy chat behind a keyboard to say he gave up

My old high school buddy would never even do very light sparring with me, but he'd always go on and on about how fighters should never quit and always take more chances.

It's only in rare circumstances that I'll get on a fighter, like Dirrell pretending to be unconscious and cintron literally jumping out of the ring.

Bert Cooper quitting against Foreman was one of the few times I didn't see a reasonable excuse for. Maybe there was one but I don't remember Cooper articulating it.
