I just watched GGG's fight with Williie Monroe, and after the first two knockdowns I honestly think he had about the same success as Brook landing shots. If you add huge cheers every time he lands something notable I'd bet that much of that fight would seem very similar to Brook-GGG. Incidentally, the punch stats were almost identical: 133-87 for the Munroe fight and 133-85 for Brook.

I also think Martin Murray has just as good of a case for winning the first two rounds against GGG as Brook did winning any pair of rounds against Golovkin.

Kell did well. He won round 2. After round 3 he was in trouble. GGG's toughest fight to date is Kassim Ouma. People need to go re-watch that fight, there's a good qual version on youtube.

What about the knockdown in round 3? A clear knockdown that was called a slip and I have not heard one single person mention it. Of course because it is irrelevent at this point but I'm bothered by the fact that professionals and experts do not know the difference. When a man gets punched in the head and drops, it's a knockdown. It's not that difficult. I can't believe that judge had it 3 rounds to 1 for Brook. Where do we get these people?

Even in rd 2, Brook only fought for 20 seconds 2:10 - 2:30 mark. They rest of the round he simply evaded GGG. Though I believe that 20 second flurry was enough to give him the round. I don't care if landed less shots in that rd. He landed the better shots. That was the only rd I gave him.

COMPUBOX is a joke. It makes me laugh that they even try and make it sound legit. Who is pushing the buttons and deciding at the same time if it is a jab, power punch, where it landed, etc? What are their qualifications? Are they more qualified than the judges? What experience do they have? Have you ever seen them? What are their names? Where do they sit? I could go on but no real boxing fan should ever site COMPUBOX as legit.

I agree, it's a farce.

The Mayweather-Pac fight was the onlye fight big enough that fans actually took the time to check the punch stats by re-counting with the entire fight in slow-motion replay and the punch numbers weren't even close, they were so far off they could have been punch stats from another fight.

Thanks for the recommendation. Just watched that fight again and that was a battle but I could only find a way to give Ouma 3 out of the 10 rounds. So i guess that goes to show you how good GGG is, when in his toughest fight to date, he only lost a few rounds in the fight. But i do agree that Ouma took GGG as deep as anyone else.

Sorry for the late reply. Yea I agree mate. Maybe 2 or 3 rounds he won but it was still a war like you said. Yea I really think GGG is that good. I hope he's able to maintain his psychical condition in his late thirty's. He's a fighter in the purest sense of the word.

Anyone seen Golovkin vs Gardener? Seems footage of that is hard to find though heard some say it was a very tough one for Golovkin
