Been reading about these two tweeting , there corner does'nt have towels ,, whats the matter with these guys Kell Brook for one is glad his corner had a towel , not only having a towel but the commonsence to use it probably saved Kells carreer ,, Seems that Kell is having surgery to fix his socket ,, if he would off gone on and carried on getting hit with them anvils that GGG call fists , his face would of been really smashed up probably beyond repair .

There attention seeking really is becoming over the top ,,

Pretty crass comment considering both Sr and Jr have been involved in fights where their opponent was seriously injured !

I can see jnr having to fornicate off to the states soon at the rate they arwe alienating themselves. No bad thing if snr stays at home

Tbf did brook not send out a pretty disrespectful tweet about khan when he got laid out against canelo. Think he might have still been on the canvas at the time.

Weather you agree with eubanks opinion or not he should still be allowed it. I dont really see the problem with it different if brook had been seriously injured or that. Board of controls getting involved is over streching it imo.

Well, Eubank Sr. was a different breed. People forget how tough he was. There was no towel throwing in his career and he was in some very tough situations. KOing Watson was an unbelievable show of heart.

So is Eubank Jr. gonna fight a tough opponent next or is he gonna keep beating up on Domestic guys and talking sh*t like hes' the greatest thing since sliced bread?

I think brook would do Eubank pretty easily really.

Yes they are pissing everyone off here and good fighter though he is he isn't the kind of k/o artist that will always have a huge following.

I like Eubank Jnr and look forward to his fights. His talking of the brown stuff just bores me now though. It's attention seeking in its purest form and his dad is embarrassing getting as well. I used to love his dad and could listen to him talk about boxing all day but he's becoming a tedious bore now!

Pathetic tweets from them, especially consider the trauma that Senior went through following what happened to Michael Watson, plus Junior's recent bout with Blackwell in which Nick has been retired from the sport.

Senior can keep tweeting because he is old & past it; Junior needs to zip it & get on with fighting the best MWs out there; not saying he wants to fight them & then pricing himself out of potential bouts.

They also didn't have a pen when it came time to sign the contract. So their attempts to look tough on twitter now are meaningless, and they deserve the kicking the media is giving them.

Quite risky though throwing that in, could injure a fighter that.

yeah, i was told by someone somehwat dismissively (when i said i thought brook vs CEJ is a good fight) that CEJ would punch holes in him, I'm really not so sure, Brook has much better ringcraft and offensive skill than CEJ IMO and could show up the same rawness in him that BJS did.

Yes, I've think you're right, despite the leathering he took off of GGG, I actually thought Kell looked pretty robust at 160, I think without the eye injury, he'd have made it past the 6th round, he'd have lost of course, but think he'd have lasted about as long as most of the 160 lb fighters who get in the ring with GGG, and longer than quite a few.

I don't see the fight happening though, what's in it for the Eubank clan?

I think ppl are overreacting to this tweet from Eubank.I understand both sides,I understand the Wayson and Blackwell situations and its a sensitive area but trash talk is something we should enjoy.Compared with some stuff said over the years its pretty tame tbh.

I agree, I mean if it wasn't for these tweets what on earth would we have to moan about on here? If we took away this type of thing altogether half of the threads on the forum wouldn't exist.

Its fair to say the Eubanks are on another planet but i enjoy it 99% of the time. Don't get me wrong we want to see some Boxing from them to, that goes without saying......

I am torn, I want to see what Jnr has to offer and find out how good he really is. I always want great fights to watch. But then I also hope they waste his whole career faffing around. It would amuse me that they would end up paying a price for being arseholes and never getting a pay off.

I'm probably in a minority of one as usual, but I hate trash talk in boxing. I find it has the opposite effect as to what is supposed to happen. It turns me off the fighter and makes me want to watch the fight less.

It was one thing when Ali did it. He was doing it at a time when others weren't, so it was something different and he managed to do it with charisma and wit. People believed he meant it, and tuned in to see the arrogant contender lose.

Nowadays everybody does it, and it's boring. More often that not it's to promote a fight, and not due to a genuine grudge. And it's done with boxers who don't have the wit of Ali's toilet, let alone the man himself. So we end up watching people acting like knobs because they think they're somehow being intimidating.

I appreciate it often sells the fight to the casuals, and could be considered a necessary evil. But how anybody who watches boxing on a semi-regular basis can consider it enjoyable is beyond me.

Despite the insensitivity of what he said towel-wise, it's not me that which annoys me the most. What annoyed me was his talk about being a proper British Middleweight ready to fight. If he's so ready to go, why did he turn down the contract? No point talking a big fight, if you don't actually want to fight.
