Last day for Povetkin-Stiverne negotiation

As usual with Riabinsky it will go to purse bid.
Don King and Stiverne in win-win situation, or they'll get big money from Riabinsky and if not - Joshua still looking for opponent, good money as well.
Povetkin, btw, is going to be out of ring for two years, if his fight with Stiverne will actually happen...Povetkin-Takam was in Oct 2014...Povetkin-Perez was 30 seconds or so...and Povetkin-Wach was actually sparring session with audience.

It's amazing to see how gentle and patient Povetkin is, knowing you're the best and still don't get the chance to prove it because of others their mistakes or pussy reactions.
If Stiverne sneaks out as well, I hope Joshua fights Povetkin and when Wilder is recovered Wilder can fight Povetkin as well.
For me Joshua doesn't even need to fight Wilder, Wilder hasn't proven himself high enough yet.

Povetkin is very patient indeed. I don't think Povetkin himself was that scared of Wlad, but he had to duck him for 4+ years because his team was scared badly of that fight. Especially his manager and his trainer

People who scared of someone do not become pro boxers. Most of them are no smart enough to scare.
It's the manager and trainer job to avoid their guy to be massacred in mismatches.

Well, Deontay Wilder and David Haye are actually pro boxers...

Not only that but Povetkin will presumably be fighting without his peds.

You can't say that about Povetkin around here

Especially Teddy Atlas, who nearly ruined Povetkin.

Yeah i a feeling we might also see the Povetkin that battled to a win over Huck in a fight he probably should have lost.
Then again Stiverne is not looking great these days.

Yeah he fought a close fight with Derric Rossy recently. Rossy is a Journeyman that I don't think anybody would have in their Top 30. Maybe not even Top 40. He's durable, but shouldn't be much threat to beat anyone so the fact that he gave Stiverne such a hard time isn't a good sign for where Stiverne's at these days.

With Eddie Hearn struggling to get Kubrat Pulev or Bermane Stiverne set as Anthony Joshua's next opponent, Dean Lonergan from Duco has raised the left field suggestion Parker's stablemate Izu Ugonoh could fight Anthony Joshua on November 26th.
Ugonoh is rated in the IBF's top 15 so he does meet that part of the criteria.

Watch the fight and you'll see he earned his win, despite hitting the wall, a performance I've never seen anyone else doing.

Boxers are as smart as people in any other profession... Some are very smart and some are very dumb... But if you're smart you don't fight somebody who you're afraid of.. The reason you're afraid of somebody is, you suspect he can kick your ass.. You could see during the face offs that Dominic Breazeale and Charles Martin were afraid of Anthony Joshua.. AJ was completely calm and unafraid because he knows he has skills.. Breazeale and Martin have been brainwashed into thinking they have skills...but deep in their heats they were not too sure.. If you really have your skills down you display absolute confidence -- but a lack of confidence and give off vibes of nervousness if you know you don't have them.

With WBC Heavyweight Champion Deontay Wilder on the mend, the sanctioning body ordered Alexander Povetkin and Bermane Stiverne to face one another for the interim title. The two have reportedly come to terms and will "soon" release the date and location for their showdown.
Povetkin (30-1, 22 KO) was all set to face Deontay Wilder earlier this year before testing positive for traces of meldonium. Though this resulted in the bout’s cancellation, the small quantity in his system and subsequent testing have cast doubt on whether "Russian Vityaz" ingested the drug after January 1st, when VADA added it to their banned substance list.
He’s won four straight, all by stoppage, since falling to Wladimir Klitschko in 2013.
Stiverne (25-2-1, 21 KO) has fought just once since getting dominated by Wilder last year, a ten-round decision over Derric Rossy in which he was dropped in the first round. Not exactly the sort of momentum one would like to bring into a world title fight.
In any event, we’ll keep you posted once the rest of the card comes together.

And still they go to purse bid on Friday.
Riabinsky is going to waste another couple of millions on his boxer and make Stiverne and King richer-)))

Another Ryabinsky fight in Russsia aka the most corrupt wasteland in boxing. If Stiverne manages to get the victory, he'll test positive afterwards. Never in doubt.

If you actually know what racism means, you'll probably understand it. If you still don't, then you probably think you know what racism is, while in fact you don't.
