He looks taller but canelo isn't a huge lightmiddle heightwise. Canelo is thicker I am sure you will see in the ring, but thats not what will decide the fight, levels will decide the fight.

Liam is pretty stockily built himself though. It's not like he's just tall but scrawny with it.

Canelo is the more talented fighter of the two for sure although we don't really know how good Liam is yet due to him feasting on a lot of poor opposition up to now.

Canelo looks like he's got a bit of a gut on him in that pic. I agree with the rest of your points though in regards to how they look there.

Go on then, you can have her and I will have her mate on the left.

Liam is taller but Canelo is bigger when it comes to most of the other attributes/measurements.

The Tecate girl to the right in the video is a near perfect example of the female form.

I personally thought Canelo's biceps looked bigger. However, I don't think size will be an issue in this fight.

I do agree Canelo looks the bigger. Thicker set and bigger hands, so overall I'd expect him to have a decent power edge in this fight. Liam has a chance though, it's no Kell Brook vs GGG type task I don't think.

What's your pick? I reckon Canelo between 8 and 12. Liam could make it to points but with his style he's going to have to absorb a lot of punishment. I'd see Gallagher throwing in thr towel before that happens. I see Smith delivering a brave offering and having little moments in the fight but just not being quite good enough.

I wouldnt be hugely shocked if he ends up being Brooks introduction to 154 next year either.

I predict a mid to late round stoppage win for Canelo. I think he will gradually break Liam down. I agree that Beefy will put on a brave effort and he's not afraid of anyone.

both like to box behind a high guard so can see this going to points, have to favour canelo just based on his experience, although be interesting to see if smith can capitalise on his extra height

Canelo looks the bigger man, and that's despite being sucked in drawn and probably struggling to walk because of all the weight he cuts to get down to 154/155.

On the night he is going to be a lot lot bigger then Smith I imagine (on the scales at least) but I am hoping that it is going to take so much out of him to make it that Liam can win this on workrate.

However, looking at who they have boxed and past performances I wouldn't be getting my hopes up for a smith win, especially with Gallagher in the corner.

Does Smith have good side to side movement, is he light enough on his feet to move in and out? (Not expecting Willie Pep)
