Top welterweight contender Errol Spence (21-0, 18KOs) is not exactly sure what to make of Danny Garcia's first defense of the WBC welterweight title - if the rumors prove to be true.

Any one got any news on this?

Danny Garcia's made a joke out of himself these last few years. He's an example of everything that's wrong with this sport.

Yup. I've been saying the same thing ever since he avoided Postol.

It's the pbc. They pay big money for crap fights but they don't have the cash for the big fights. Danny probably gets over a million for Molina, but they can't secure 3 or 4 each for Garcia/Thurman.

Boxing is such a joke at this point I don't know how some of you stay loyal to this garbage without having wagers on outcomes.

This is a real bitch move by Garcia. I know he will say he just fights who Haymon selects for him, but that is bullshit and we all know it. They are trying to say Berto priced himself out, but that is bullshit too. Berto would have at least been a good fight, and Molina isn't even a welterweight. Many more deserving fighters out there. I hope WBC refuses to sanction it.

Garcia has had an impressive resume, but it has been going downhill fast. I won't be watching it.

Molina would be getting a opportunity. Molina would put up a good fight while it lasted. Molina just won't win. The outcome would be predetermined.
