70 years ago a big ‘aah!’ moment in the Jewish game (although common knowledge today) was: You know who’s really Jewish . . . Paul Newman.

I always heard Larry from The 3 Stooges fought 1 bout under the ring name Kid Roth, it's hard to confirm it's true, but from what I understand on Boxrec he'd be the Kid Roth who's listed as being from Allentown, Pennsylvania.

I read that in one of his bios and thought that was a mistake or joke but then I read he was also in the army.

He didn't box did he? I know he done a charity fight for Sports Relief along with other celebs but pretty sure he had never boxed before that. It was a one off fight.

Sid Owen (Eastenders actor) took park in same charity event later on but he reckoned he used to box as a teenager.
