Anyone have an idea who he will be boxing upon his return on the AJ undercard?

He said he wants to go straight back in with a big name at Featherweight....

Did he say he's done with the Super Bantamweights?

I don't think he'll go against Rig, WBA have ordered him to fight the interim holder first, and then the regular.

Why is he moving up?

He should fight Rigondeaux.

Not sure if he definitely is? He is pretty big for the weight and said he'd actively chase Frampton for the rematch. Maybe Rigo will move up as well. Probably better fights at Feather.

It's hard to understand what he is talking about half of the time, but from what I could gather his next fight is definitely at 9 Stone and will try and get a belt there to box Frampton.

He did say that he could still make SBW, but to me he did not look healthy on the scales v Frampton.

Becoming the undisputed super bantamweight champion would help him get a Frampton rematch.

Yet more weight-jumping rubbish.

Hope he doesn't fade away now he has a bit of cash and been inactive for a while. Doesn't strike me as the sort who will but you never know

His been inactive due to the broken jaw he suffered in the Frampton fight requiring surgery.

If Quigg is moving up to Featherweight, then it's clear that he's chasing the Frampton rematch.

He's got quite a big frame on him so might be a lot busier at Feather. That extra 4lb could make a lot of difference for him.

What calibre of opponent does everyone think his team will opt for.

He has said on more than one occasion he doesn't want any warm up fights.

If Rigo is not that great then by Your scale them you must rate quigg as utter shite as whatever you think about rigo he is miles ahead of quigg in every aspect. I could see it now, quigg has his high guard for 12 rounds landing 1-3 punches a round, Rigo never gets of if 1st gear and cruises to a 120-108 points win.

I could not even warrant that claim with a response but glad someone did mate haha.

Based on what?

His win against a lacklustre Donaire is almost 3.5 years ago now.

Very overrated fighter.

Based on watching him box. Based on him being technically brilliant. Based on his ring IQ, his defence, his counter punching, his footwork, his hand speed, his reflexes. Based on his 2 Olympic gold medals. And based on the fact that since he schooled a P4P superstar in his 12th pro fight, no world class fighter in or around his division has wanted any part of him, with a unified champion even choosing to change division to avoid facing him. There's plenty of evidence to suggest that Rigondeaux is an incredible boxer and it is quite frankly bizarre that anyone would claim otherwise.

I've seen him box plenty. He's really not that great.

Always dipping below the waste like a cheat and boring everyone to tears.

His amateur credentials mean nothing as a pro.

You might find him boring, but boxing is about hitting and not being hit. And when it comes to that, he's one of the best in the world.

Skills are skills. I trust my eyes and they tell me and many others that Rigo is a brilliant boxer. If you choose to deny it, for whatever reason, that's up to you. Good day, Horse.

I know better than most.

Rigo is a definite hypejob.

Whether he is a hype job or not, he beats Quigg with relative ease.
