Wladimir is far too good for Joshua at this stage.

Klitscho wouldn't have the testicles to take on Joshua. He'll wait and see what tasty puddings he can fight for Fury's vacant belts. Cue a 2-round KO over a Lucas Browne type and an "I'm back!" sort of statement.

Wlad could well be completely finished at this stage. He looked poor against Jennings and is now 40 years old. I remember when fighters were finished mid 30's. 40 is ancient for a boxer, even a heavyweight.

Joshua could beat him. Depends what Wlad has left.

It's a gamble but why not. That match excites me

I know, the fight probably won't happen and all, but there's no harm in dreaming. Would be the perfect way for Wlad to end his career.

Surely Eddie wouldn't risk Joshua against Klitschko at this stage? Wlad might be nearly done, but if Joshua stands in front of him (like he would), he'd have a very good chance of getting a knockout.

He looked old versus Fury & that was year ago.

Although it's not his fault, he's done nothing for a year & he's 41 now.

If Joshua is so great then why hasn't he fought any genuine top 15 world ranked fighters yet?

For a world champion Joshua's record is pathetic.

Fighters that Wladimir has dominated in the last 2 years, Pulev and Jennings, are far better than anyone that Joshua has beaten.

Very true, but if Joshua wants to make a statement, then beating the man that beat them would be his best option.

I think it's a gamble worth taking, because, even if he lost, he is young enough to come again.

Neither did Fury and look what happened.

I think AJ has got better in the past year and Wlad is over the hill and another year older representing a more even playing field for Joshua, Perfect fight.

Hey, I'd love to see the fight and if Joshua is as good as most people seem to think he is on here, then he is best off fighting Wladimir while he still can, before he retires.

I don't think Joshua is anywhere near that level though and a single step up to fight someone like Chisora, Thompson or Stiverne is good enough for me. 2 steps up to fight someone like Pulev would be very good.

Going from fighting sub-top 30 level opposition to fighting an ATG, who is still on world class form, is a huge step up and to assume that he'll win and win easily is mental as far as I'm concerned.

It's the only way that Joshua can show the Horse that he is world class.

Would love to see this, only to see if AJ is the hype job some people suggest he is.

Can't see it though.. If Hearn can drag it out till next Summer then I think he'll get it on at Wembley just to rinse a few more quid in ticket sales.
