Looks like he's got a bit of a following there and definitely some natural power.

Considering his lack of experience he's actually looked okay....certainly better than Benn.

But seriously, Folks, he does look half decent considering he's only had about half an hour of actual ring experience (amateur or pro).

I remember his dad turning pro (same with Nige) so it's good to see him doing well.

He looks a decent fighter.

Think they could of done with keeping him off tv for another 6 or 7 bouts, let him go in with some decent journeymen that don't get stopped a lot. Theres no substitute for that type of experience.

He looked ok though, especially with his limited ring time up to press.

He's not the instant natural that his father was, but with Freddie Roach he might develop into something interesting. I don't know what to make of a man with zero amateur fights demolishing such an experienced amateur.

Joichiro Tatsuyoshi's son, Juiki, turned pro last year and doesn't look like much. Lippe-Morrison looks much better so far than Juiki.

All through the fight most of the crowd were waving "Trey" banners like maniacs - almost as if they all got free tickets to look good on tv and were told that they wouldn't get any more free tickets if they didn't do as they were told.

I wonder if he's been on the toughman circuit or whatever their version of the unlicensed scene is over there. He looked very composed with some wild guy throwing looping shots at him. If he really is a total novice i'm impressed at with how he looks with so little experience.

From what I have read he took it up very late. Had no interest in fighting as a youth. He might even have resolved to box upon his father's death, if memory serves. Doesn't have the hard man fighting background that the Duke did.

From that brief fight Lippe doesn't look as brutish as his old man, but does have his confidence and unflappable demeanor.

Very interesting article on Morrison. They seem to be developing him the right way.
