They get it tight at times and rightly so but I actually enjoyed the commentary last night. Halling talked his usual bollux but I enjoyed Maliignaggi and Froch. Malignaggi slating O'Connor was particularly refreshing

Think it was Adam Smith rather than Halling last night.

I was p1ssed so could be wrong - wasn't it Smith, Froch and Paulie?

You could be right. I was also half cĂșnted

I remember really enjoying Froch n Paulie hence the thread
Ps. Smith must now be known as weird neck...

I prefer Smith to Halling, Froch was good, Paulie tends to go on a bit, but he is generally spot on

Weird neck and Prick Halling both sound similar when you've been necking Tennents since 7pm. My bad

Thought Paulie was right in his comments about home cooking as well. For a second after you could here a pin drop

wouldn't surprise me if they didn't have him back, they were clearly a bit irked when he suggested corolla shouldn't referee his own fight

Think Paulie is a great addition to the team altho last night he got on my tits with saying 'oohh' everytime a shot landed but we could quite easily see they were not hurtful shots...muted it from rd 7.

Froch just agreed with everything Paulie said , malignaggi is a very clued up man though.

I enjoy listening to Paulie, he knows boxing inside out.

I saw some comments against Paulie but i found him insightful and comments that I agreed with. The home cooking, refereeing and Crolla reffing his own fights were things in my mind.

Enjoyed the commentary on the whole but missed the main event so not sure about the whole Crolla moaning thing.
Did he try get Linares a point deducted? Fights on youtube already but hotel wifi is pants.

Best commentary duo we've had for awhile I thought Malignaggi and Froch. I agree regarding Smith aswell. He's still too much of a company man (which is understandable however considering his position) but he's far better than Halling. The MC from last night whose name has slipped my mind is far better than the darts knobber aswell.

Wasn't Crollas fault tbh. Linares hurt him and O'Connor stepped in. Bad refereeing. O'Connor is a fuckin embarrassment at times.

Body shot?
If so, glad Paulie stepped up and said so. I've disagreed with him in the past, especially his opinions on Pacquiao and Hatton, but generally find his views, and the way he sees a fight quite insightful.

Body then snapped his head back with a good shot in the corner. It looked to me like O'Connor saw Crolla was in bother and said to himself 'oh no we can't have any of that' and stepped in. Guys a liability.

Froch sounds an absolute plonker compared to Paulie "There's Wayne Rooney a big fight fan at ringside with Colleen" straight out of the Adam Smith commentary book.

I'll have to see it but it sounds shocking.
