WTF, no one talking about Linares - Crolla?

Linares - Crolla was an extremely entertaining fight, and there weren't any threads about it in any of the assorted boards on boxrec. Instead, everyone is talking about the non-fights that aren't happening in the heavyweight division. Are there any boxing fans on boxrec?

There are several threads about it in the British and Irish section, including a 17 page round by round thread for the card. I don't think it was covered on a major channel in the US, so maybe that's why it's quiet in this section.
It was a good, competitive fight, with Linares clearly deserving the win. Crolla has a reputation for his stamina, but I thought he was the one who faded more in the late rounds against Perez the first time, then against Linares. Crolla had a good run in the middle rounds, but I think his style was just too basic to get it done against Linares.
There is talk of an immediate rematch, but Linares won clearly and I'd much rather see Linares-Zlat (the guy JL lost his belt for not fighting) and Crolla-Flanagan.

Yeah, my bad. It's a bit buried, but it's there. Didn't see it.

I am surprised that Linares didn't get robbed. Golden Boy found a way to work with judges.

I think that those casual fight fans that previously rode the "Mayweather-Pacquiao rivalry" bandwagon have disembarked and now ride the GGG-Canelo bandwagon instead. Most of them aren't genuine fight fans, so they refuse to recognise non-mainstream names.

Why do you have to keep posting accusations of criminal activity?
I wouldn't mind if you have proof of bribery and corruption, but you have none.

Home town decisions is a well known fact and only idiots can pretend that they don't exist or happen very rarely, especially in Germany and UK.

I agreed with the 115-113 card. I really think that Crolla deserves more respect for the work that he did in there last night. Linares won but it was close because Crolla just kept coming, out jabbed Linares and won some very close rounds (as did Linares). I think Linares did the better overall work to the body and won more clear rounds.
Excellent, entertaining, competitive fight. Moreso than many on the B & I rbr gave it credit for.

The forum is mainly frequented by casuals that are more interested in arguing over the likes of Canelo-GGG-Kovalev-Ward than following the guys competing in the smaller weight classes.
I must admit, as a Brit, if it wasn't for SKY televising that fight, I probably wouldn't have found a way to watch it live. And perhaps this explains the lack of interest in this excellent bout.
