Does anyone have a clip of the Lattimore-Morrison fight? How good is Morrison?
Did he beat a legit tough guy from Pittsburgh or was Lattimore way overrated?
I don't get showtime so I missed it and I ain't that good with youtube

Trey Lippe Morrison has decent power.
Otherwise he is unproven.

I've only watched one of his bouts, which was a 1st round KO, but based on what little I saw... he's a heavy-handed slugger that stands square-on, doesn't move his head, appears vulnerable to hooks and fails to tuck his chin into his chest.
He may prove to have more "tools" in his proverbial "toolbelt" when faced against better opposition, but I can only comment on what little I've seen of him.

Not very good from what I saw of him. Then again, he had zero amateur bouts. He's gonna be a long work in progress I imagine.

He punches hard, that's for sure. He fights more like Duane Bobick than his Dad.

He looks very good to me. Takes a punch and hits with short hard punches.

We'll have to see more of the kid obviously, but it was a nice way to make an impression on Television that's for sure.

Looks just like his father. Might have devastating power but doesn't seem to have much speed. We'll see!

Hits hard, has good timing and accuracy. Defensively he doesn't look that great.
For someone with 0 amateur fights he'll have a solid career but will come undone against big punchers who can exploit his poor defence and boxers with decent chins who can take his power and outbox him.
I see him being just outside the top 20 on basis of his power. He'll beat most lesser opponents but lose when he steps into the elite of the division.

You can learn defense. You cant learn hitting hard and taking a good punch, which he does.

He's definitely powerful but his defense is awful. Freddie's got a lot of work to do on this kid.

Out of interest, how do you see his career progressing? Your positivity suggests that you think he’ll eventually become a world-beater, am I correct?

It's way too soon to make any prediction like that. He looked very good to me, not sensational but very good with a lot of potential. I read your post above and we've got no disagreement. Freddie Roach seems to think he's got a lot of potential too.

Another JCC Jr?
No amateur experience
Strong potential
Roach as his trainer
Could win a WBO-type of title (or WBA Silver), and make decent money.
But, alas, as a heavyweight, won't have to worry about making weight.
Lippe vs. Browe/Oquendo
Make it happen whomever is his promoter.

I think he has good tools for Freddie Roach to mold. The power is very good, and jr seems to have a better right hand than his more famous father. Decent Speed. Good aggressiveness. Good athletic ability.
Trey Lippe's main problem is he needs to go rounds but keeps getting first round knockouts.
Give Roach three years, and we might have a top 10 ranked heavyweight.

Can you? You can improve it but there's very few fighters that can box like Rigondeaux or Ward for instance. It's damn hard to that's why.

Is Lattimore a legit test? He's a local kid. I seen him fight once and came away with mixed opinion. He looks strong as a bull but I seen a questionable journeyman type give him a tough fight down at Rivers Casino. don't remember the other guys name but he wasn't worth remembering
