Sky are showing the full fight at 8 on their free to air platform Sky Sports Mix. Delayed coverage before Clevery. Need to try and stay clear of the result til Sat night.

I can see this fight going the distance.

Now is parker really going to want to box Joshua for a world title, less than two months after going a full 12 rounds.

The fight is not happening in Manchester, not unless he does him under three rounds. Even then I can not see Parker's team being as silly as taking the fight this year.

They have already had three previous fights to this one, which included a 12 round fight with Takam. It would be suicide to take that fight this year.

Be interesting to see exactly what Dimitrenko has got left and whether he can genuinely find something new his locker for Parker.....this must be a last run out at elite level for Alex if Parker beats him easily...even in these wafer thin times for the HW division?

Great news, looking forward to seeing Parker again,he showed plenty flaws against Takam, mainly his defence and stamina but there were plus's like his heart and will to win,he's got good hand speed too so be interesting to see him in with another live opponent,i think ive only seen Dimitrenko once since he was KO'd by Pulev a few years ago,im not sure what he's got left,Takam looked to nearly have Parker out of there at one point when Joseph gassed but he couldnt sustain the pressure,i wonder if a past it Dimitrenko can?

Parker by late KO

My virgin box is showing a 8pm start sky sports 2 and a 8pm start on sky sports mix.

Anyone know the difference?

Does anyone give Dimitrenko a chance here? He is 12/1 for the upset which seems pretty generous.

He's definitely the 'B' side but maybe proves to be a live one?

Pretty sure AD is smart enough to know this could be the last run-out with the top boys unless he wins or gives Joseph a really tough, close fight. So he's surely got to try something by being positive and forcing Joseph to answer a few awkward questions.

The guy actually has a good jab, turns up in shape, has got a decent-ish height advantage and overall (despite the usual padding in the record) has faced plenty of good opponents. And at 34 he's not on the turn at HW.

Sadly, he's also been slow and predictable/ponderous in the past and Parker is a quick and positive guy; not the type to let someone like AD settle?

Also interested to see how Parker deals with a big home event with all the expectation that he's got a title fight next. Being a big name in a small country can create pressure and that can lead to mistakes.

Will be keeping an eye out for this one because it will tell us plenty about Parker.

How do you mean? It's the exact same programme, just being shown on 2 separate channels.

My box automatically picked them both up.
I've cancelled the sky mix but was just checking they weren't identical broadcasts.

Anyone wanting to avoid the result should stay off the CS board for now as it's on the front page (idiot that I am, I just went on there and had it spoiled for me).
