Really didn't want to wake up to this.
Thoughts are with his family but also Dale Evans who doesn't deserve this either.

Feel for his family, but also feel so much sympathy for Dale Evans he must feel terrible 'although this is not his thought at all'. So sad all round

Not gunna lie, I shed a tear last night .
I didnt know him personally, just watched the fight live like many others on the STV website.
Knowing now that I was watching the last moments of a young mans life is upsetting.

I had the pleasure of working on two of Mike's bouts and he was a fantastic guy. I'm just devastated by this and feel so bad for his family, friends and team.

Very sad to hear. Thoughts are with his family and friends. I hope Dale Evans can recover from this too. Have to spare a thought for Victor Loughlin also, he's had a rough year with this and the Blackwell - Eubank fight.

Terrible news, this can be the most brutal of sports. Sometimes posters need to remember this when they are quick to mock and disrespect fighters.

RIP Mike Towell,total respect to him and his family and to all boxers who put themselves at risk,they are truly a special kind of human being and i have the utmost respect for every single one of them who is willing to climb through the ropes.
