Mike Tyson V Danny Williams - I Told You So!!

:TU: :D Well, I was right! Danny rose to the occasion and did a wonderful job. He took some big shots from Iron Mike in the first round, but he came back and bust him up.

I've been telling everyone for ages that Danny's the top man. They all laughed at me, saying how can a man who lost it against Julius Francis, Sinan Samil Sam and Michael Sprott can be a world-beater?

Well, with Danny, he seriously never worries about an opponent he's not frightened of. With Tyson, obviously he knew he was up against it.

Now his opponents are in the top-ten bracket. They won't fold easily, and they can take a shot or two. This is where it gets harder. Now Danny is up there and can't afford to slip up.

As for Harrison, Skelton et al; well they are a distant memory.

Respect has been a long time coming. I've got a lump in my throat writing this, but he'll finally get some. For a nice, humble chap like Danny, it's all the more sweeter.

I agree that the result was inevitable. But I disagree that Danny is a World beater. I've always rated him, but he's not good enough to beat Vitali, Byrd, Golota, Sam, Gomez, Ruiz and a number of others.

Tyson is 16 years past his best, he's a musclebound, inactive 2 round banger.

People, even knowlegeable boxing fans, have it in their heads that Tyson is some sort of super-human, he's not, he's just a man.

Nobody would back the West Indies side of 1988 to beat a 2004 county side in a 40 over match this afternoon, so why they all line up to back Tyson is beyond me.

People who are normally rational thinking predictors turn into fools when Tyson is fighting.

I won £75 which was good, I'd be cumming in my pants off winning £600. Nice One

I agree with a lot of what Flawed Genius says, i wish i was a betting man as i had a hunch Danny would do him in 4 or 5 rounds. Tyson is a spent force, let's hope he retires for everyones sake.
