Lucas Browne is in talks for a fight with Wladimir Klitschko.

The Klitschko camp has made contact with Browne’s connections about fighting for Fury’s WBA belt but there is also talk of a fight between the Klitschko and Anthony Joshua.

Browne told The Courier-Mail: “No matter what happens I am fighting for a version of the world title in a couple of months.

“I will be moving my training base from Perth back to Sydney next week to get ready.

“The court has ordered me to fight Oquendo for the vacant title but a Klitschko fight, if it happens, would be a much bigger payday. Whoever is in front of me I will be going after them 100 per cent.’’

I must say I am taking most of what we are currently hearing in the heavyweight division with a grain of salt.

The mass deception is of course being led by Eddie Hearn, who is dropping names like confetti and setting and resetting his own decision deadlines. Almost everything else hinges on what he finally decides to do next with Anthony Jushua.

The reality is most of what we are hearing can't possibly happen because it is contradictory to everything else, and only time will tell what will actually happen.

Meanwhile Hearn continues to talk up Joshua vs Wlad and the date looks like shifting :

Eddie Hearn is confident a blockbuster clash between Anthony Joshua and Wladimir Klitschko can take place before the end of the year.

Joshua is currently pencilled in for a mandatory defence of his IBF heavyweight belt on November 26 while Klitschko is looking for an opponent after his rematch with Tyson Fury was cancelled.

The fight could also be for the WBA and WBO belt if Fury is stripped of them and Hearn says both fighters want the bout to go ahead.

"I am hopeful, both guys have it in their mind that that is going to be the next fight," he told Press Association Sport.

"There are plenty of hurdles to overcome still and day by day we are ticking each of them off and I think there is a real expectancy from all sides now that that will be the next fight.

"Can we push that back to December? I'd like a little bit more time, that's a possibility as well. Wladimir Klitschko against Joshua is the most likely scenario.

"There are less lucrative ones Klitschko could take, some easier ones definitely. Klitschko has been training for 12 months, he has got the bit between his teeth and he wants to fight.

"The Joshua fight is probably the biggest out there in the division right now and it is a great fight - a young lion coming through against the master.

Klitschko should just fight Parker for vacant WBO & WBA title . It would make more sense to pass the torch to the next greatest heavyweight since Muhammad Ali.

World Boxing News claim they have 'been reliably informed' that a fight between Anthony Joshua and Wladimir Klitschko is likely to take place on December 10, in London.

This would leave Browne to negotiate with Oquendo for the vacant WBA title, as directed by the WBA about a month ago.

Perhaps if Oquendo doesn't come up fit and willing, Browne might meet Haye on December 10th?
