Fantasy matches : Željko Mavrović (1998) vs. current HWs ?

Mavrović has been defeated by Lewis, but the fight was competitive. What do you think about Mavrović's chances against modern day HWs ?

Mavrovic was tough, but not the most skilled and his power was average at best (despite his KO%). I think all today's top HWs (Fury, Wlad, Joshua, Wilder, Povetkin, Ortiz) would beat him pretty comfortably. Mavrovic's best win was Julius Francis. Let me tell you again: JULIUS FRANCIS. His resume makes Vitali's resume look like Ali's one in comparison.

That's not a fantasy matchup its a nightmare matchups. Mavrojic who?

I suppose that you had not watched his fight against Lennox ? You can see on YOU TUBE, it is available. And, LL has been in his prime.

Although Mavrojic performed well against Lennox, I cant help but think Lewis was under-motivated. A poor venue, attendance and a mandatory that nobody had heard of.
Most top 10 easily beat him.

It was one of the best HW fights I have ever seen. I don't want to discuss about that, this is a fact, for me. Nobody would be able to convince me the opposite. I agree, Mavrović's resume in not the great one, but he was competitive against the best HW since 1980.
