115-114 Relikh, but can see a very close win for Burns.

Someone on another thread was right in comparing it the AA-Smith I; Sky went crazy at that result (I had AA winning) and a rematch came out of the furor, but it was a very similar thing here, maybe worse.

I though Relikh 115-113 but a round either way you couldnt argue with. The scorecards were bullshit though.

115-114 Relikh,it was close and I won't argue about the result but the scorecards need to be investigated by the WBA because they were horrendous,I'd like to see which rounds the 118-110 judge gave to Relikh

Burns by 1 round for me.

Draw for me, burns had no answer to relikhs pressure at times but used his experience better

115-113 Burns

Relikh won the first 2 and the last 3 for me. Didn't think Ricky won the other 7 clearly. A Few close rounds. Wouldn't argue with Relikh by a round, a draw or Ricky by a round. The scorecards where far too wide.

If Relikh was a British fighter fighting in Germany they'd still be screaming rematch

Burns by a couple, good fight though.

One of the judges was miles off, only gave Relikh 2 rounds, that card was a joke.

115-113 Burns

my card was one of those odd ones, where I had Ricky a small winner but felt Relikh won the fight. He won his rounds bigger (and looked like was taking over at the end of the fight), but Ricky won more rounds. But scoring the fight, Ricky still should be champion in my eyes.

Just curious, did anyone not have Relikh winning the first two and the last three?

Exactly the same for me.

Shocking scorecards. Relikh won 5 rounds (first2, last 3) easily.

One judge 118-110.... Just sad, really. I had it a draw myself.

7 rounds to 5 to Burns. 118-110 scorecard way off, other 2 scorecards fine. I thought it was a knockdown though rather than a slip which would have made my card a one point win to Burns.

Yeah that was the 5 rounds I gave him. I thought Ricky won 7 rounds in a row middle rounds though

Thought Burns took this one but wasn't scoring it...was more just the overall impression of the full fight.

Not sure I could make an argument that Relikh won it, thought he won early rounds and maybe one or two at the end but Burns probs did enough.

Nope. I had Burns taking every other round though so felt he deserved to win. Because of the muck scorecards this fight is after being labelled a robbery which is wasn't. However that 118-110 card beggars belief really.

Just watched the fight again. I had Burns just shading it over the course but you couldn't argue if it went the other way. Relikh is a good fighter and proved he belongs at that level. The scorecards were an embarrassment to British boxing and should be investigated. There's not an impartial sane person in the world that could have arrived at the score they did. Clear bias. It pains me to say but there's no other way to describe it. Enough is enough!

Scorecards aside I think Burns deserves more credit than he's getting here. He beat a good fighter and the dodgy scoring is deflecting. It was a good fight and I wouldn't mind seeing it again tbh. Burns will probably get Broner now though. Good pay day but Burns is made for Broner.

I had Ricky losing last night by 3 rounds, however the judge who gave it 118-110 should be investigated lol.
Hope Ricky get Broner and a great pay day next, the one thing last night did say was Ricky most Defo isn't a light welter

I don't score fights unless I watch them with the sound muted as the commentary influences your perceptions no matter who you are.
My gut was that Ricky won the fight though and I don't dispute that. What I do dispute is that No matter what he had done the foreign boy wasn't getting the result unless he knocked Ricky out. We seen it with Beltran who dominated Ricky so it ain't the 1st time it's happened.

It's constant in the UK where Matchroom fighters, prior to that Warren fighters get additional time for refs after knock downs to recover, they get ruled skips like last night or. scorecards are wild. British fighters continually get the benefit of the doubt and favourable treatment.

I gave rounds 10 and 11 to relikh. I scored the 12th even but had the legitimate kd counted it would have been 10-8 and therefore rekikhs fight. Scoring 10 and 11 to burns is as bad as some of those rounds the ref gave to David barnes in his fight with Jimmy Vincent.

Apparently the venue was half empty last night. Ricky's career has went as far as it is going now. He's over achieved for his ability, he's taken on some cracking fighters and can retire safe in the knowledge he knows exactly how good he was- plenty of other fighters are too risk averse to know the same about themselves.
The only thing he's missed out on is a big pay day to keep him secure for life. Hopefully he gets that next.
