Kiwi on the run after streaming boxing fights

Joseph Parker will have the chance at a world boxing title early next year, and it's big news in the sports world.

It's sure to be another box office smash for those who put the fight on, but how will you be watching it? Will you pay-per-view? Or deliberately not pay-per-view?

Kiwis are increasingly taking part in livestreams, watching for free and risking being taken to court.

SKY TV and boxing promoters Duco Sports are enraged and going after the online rebels in a big way. They say they will take everyone who puts up a link to their fights, to court.

But the streamers say they'll just keep going.

Story went to meet a man who had been streaming and now he's on the run, in hiding from the promoters, somewhere in New Zealand.

Live streaming a fight on Facebook isnt very smart to begin with.... but to then say on camera he is going to stream anything and everything he can.... while people are trying to serve him papers for copyright infringement... this guy aint the sharpest tool in the shed.
