Very interesting fight that. As close as you can get to a 50-50 type affair I'd imagine. I honestly couldn't pick a winner. I could see either guy winning in fairness.
Ortiz chins both though ;)

I'd fancy Whyte to win this one. Haven't seen a LOT of Browne, but from what I have seen I've not been that impressed. Whyte has made significant improvements since the Joshua defeat including fitness, so just fancy him to outwork Browne.

Whyte has beaten ............................ who exactly?
It wouldn't shock me if Whyte won, neither are world beaters but on balance I'd expect Browne to win a comfortable points decision.

Whyte hasn't beaten anyone in the top 75. I'd expect numerous fighters to be capable of dominating area-level opponents like Allen and obese Lewison.

To be honest, I don’t rate Browne or Whyte as top-tier world-beaters at heavyweight. It would be a decent pick ‘em fight though, where the young Brit could outwork the heavily-muscled and one-dimensional veteran Aussie.
That being said, I suspect Browne is more likely to face Oquendo or Haye in his next outing for a version of the WBA world title.
So in all honesty, I don’t think that a Browne-Whyte bout is likely to happen in the short-term.

Whyte is clearly better than Browne. Browne isn't good.

If Whyte is healthy, then it could be 50/50 type of fight. I am not sure about his shoulder.

No chance Browne wins on points. His boxing skills are atrocious and he has no jab. His key to victory would be to land one like he did against Chagaev. That's the only way I see him beating any top 15 heavyweight (although Whyte isn't top 20 his boxing skills are definitely better than Browne's, which isn't hard)

I think a good metaphor for this fight would be choosing between two bowls of shit. Better, but still shit.

I'd favor Whyte in that match as I think he's a tad more refined. Browne is a physical guy though, and it'd be an interesting fight. I think Browne probably has the slightly better stamina of the two so he might be able to get ahead in the fight as it goes along.

Whyte would easily out box him and start landing flush power shots as the fight goes into later rounds. Whyte by 10th round k.o.
