Best Pubs For Boxing - London

Hey folks...down in London for the NFL so missing the show in Brum on Saturday....but I def want to watch the show, including Davis v Economides.
I have rang a couple of sports pubs...one said they never show boxing, one said it wasn't a 'priority sport'.
Anyone got an idea where some good ones that always have the fight in area? Staying in Waterloo, but can travel easily!

There's a Sports Bar & Grill right in by Waterloo which may show it, but I'd call them.
If not, guaranteed place to see it and close to Waterloo is the Six Yard Box down Elephant & Castle, which you can either bus or tube it in 5/10 mins.

Really, never heard of that.
There's very few pubs show boxing these days.
Riley's in Victoria shows some big fights, aside from that, most pubs don't bother.

Just tell them to put it on. I'd be surprised if most wouldn't.

They'd have to have Sky sports first, and or pay for a PPV depending on the bout.
A lot of pubs only put TV's on for the footie these days. Most punters have little or no interest in boxing.

Salmon and Ball in Bethnal Green. I'd be surprised if they didn't have it on. They had the Bellew fight on the other night. The Dundee Arms has gone all trendy. I asked the barman if he was showing the boxing later, and he looked at me like i'd just shat in his missus' handbag.

Where do you live? I can't think of any in my neck of the woods, it's all wood fired pizza's and nose to tail eating in South London these days.

There's a pub in Waterloo that shows all boxing and sports. I can't remember the name though. I will try

Belushi's London Bridge
Have been there for Joshua v Brezeale and Golovkin v Brook and the atmosphere was electric. Full house both times
Only thing is that its £5 entry and dont forget your id. Im pretty sure they will show the normal non ppv boxing

I think all the Belushi's show fights, bit like Rileys used to, now only the one in Victoria does, and then only sporadically.

Old Red Lion Theatre near Kings Cross shows the boxing and the UFC. I watched Joshua-Martin in there and the place was packed, a lot of the punters looked like they were fighters (in that they boxed or trained, not that they were idiots- there was no trouble) and were there for the whole card: some reasonably knowledgeable and friendly banter about the action with some people I didn't know as well.

Probably say on the website whether they're showing it or not.
Easy enough from Waterloo: just get the Northern Line.
We used to go to the World's End in Finsbury Park for the fights, but that area is a bit gentrified now and I'm not sure they show them anymore.

12 pins in Finsbury Park always used to show boxing- have watched Haye v de mori (?), Froch, Fury etc. Normally pretty busy and a good craic.

Would also second the old red lion- have watched boxing in this pub- personally prefer 12 pins but old red lion might be closer.

Srill true for most 'normal' ie non poncey pubs even in London.
If I stay out long enough after football will probably watch it in the sheaf by london bridge (not to be confused with the wheatsheaf around the corner).
Red lion is a good one right next to angel tube though and will definitely have it on and a decent crowd in there last time I was

I like the new Dundee Arms. Got a grilled cheese sandwich there the other months for a cool £6! Sweeet!

Has it!! jesus that's definitely not like the old days!!! I always preferred the Salmon and Ball anyway, remember a time I was in there and a guy at the bar was knocking his glass on it to get attention for a beer, the barmaid looks over and says, 'you bang that glass one more time you'll be wearing it'

true story

Yeah that's it. It is quite a big room, but not an obvious pub to find.
