Who would win in battle between this British fighters?IMO Watson takes it by points

Watson outpoints chris although pyatt looks to win the early rounds - runs out of gas, gets outboxed

Watson wins easy

Watson is always a tricky one to evaluate as we never sadly saw his peak years.

he looked a good counterpuncher early v benn and don lee.

than he took a terrific thrashing uncharacteristically going forward like a basic drone v mccallum. That was a severe beating and im baffled at those who think it was competitive. I almost had a shutout.

Than he regroups and puts in two dominant performances as a pressure fighter on the offensive v eubanks.

Theres no doubt in my mind Watson would have improved as much as benn did going forward...

As things are the versions of Watson we did see are too much for blown up LM pyatt

I think vs McCallum, he started in his normal boxing attitude, and in those first couple of rounds where he was stiff and rusty, and i think he realised he had no chance whatsoever in a boxing match with McCallum.

Now remember, three months earlier Steve Collins had won maybe four of the last six rounds against Mike, so you can see an argument that as an older fighter his stamina might lack, if tested. So, given Watson had no chance whatsoever in a boxing match, pushing himself forward, after the early round schooling, was his only option of actually trying to win the fight. Albeit it was still futile it was a slightly better plan than the alternative, Watson wasn't quick enough of hand or foot to box with McCallum.

Watson for me too, Chris finally hit gold at MW whilst actually being a far better LMW.
When you think of the way Michael bested Benn it is not hard to think that he'd have handled Chris the same way.
