Just watched Christie fight on a VHS tape and I never knew until I checked his record he never actually fought for any title at all, not even an area title.

Also I have never seen any boxer wear Kronk boxing shorts thats not been associated with the Kronk Gym before

He was at the Kronk for a little while. There's a documentary kicking about where it's mentioned. I did see an undercard fighter in the early 90's on a Matchroom show, with replica pair of Kronk shorts on.

He never fought for a title? Interesting, I wouldn't have thought that either.

I always thought Christie won a British title but he never actually fought for a title at all, he fought Kaylor in an eliminator however
