Anyone else going to the show on the 12th November? Really looking forward to it.
Monte Carlo? That what they renamed the pub down your road then?Stuarty30 wrote:I am taking the Stuarty family yacht and setting sail on the 10th. I shall be docking in Monte Carlo the next day. I don't know whether to sleep in the yacht or book in to the Hilton?
Yeah it used to be called the Stab Inn but they've started doing cocktails.PredatorHayds wrote:Monte Carlo? There is no Hilton in Monaco, try the Hotel De Paris.Stuarty30 wrote:I am taking the Stuarty family yacht and setting sail on the 10th. I shall be docking in Monte Carlo the next day. I don't know whether to sleep in the yacht or book in to the Hilton?

As mad as it sounds i was in Vegas on holiday when Froch Groves 2 took place and only 1 bar seemed to be showing the fight Blondes sportsbar on the Mircale Mile in PH crazy i thought it would of been everywhere!dhb-raging bull wrote:That will do me cheers pal get in a sports bar for it and have a few beers and bite to eat
It was a big domestic clash. The Americans don't watch that many of their own, let alone two foreign guys, neither of whom were number one. Only Camp Eddie thought it was the biggest fight in the world.cocobongo wrote:As mad as it sounds i was in Vegas on holiday when Froch Groves 2 took place and only 1 bar seemed to be showing the fight Blondes sportsbar on the Mircale Mile in PH crazy i thought it would of been everywhere!dhb-raging bull wrote:That will do me cheers pal get in a sports bar for it and have a few beers and bite to eat
He does year round drug testing with VADA now out of his own pocket.handsofstone wrote:Looking forward to this show actually,McDonnell, Smith and Murray could all have tough nights
I actually haven't seen that much of Ortiz, most of his fights aren't shown here for some reason unless he's on a big card,I only seen highlights of the Jennings and Thompson KO's, he does have real power and could be a major player in the division but he needs to be more active at this age,if he screws about like most Cubans then he'll end up too old to make an impact
I've seen enough of Scott to know he probably won't last 2 round with Ortiz, he quit against Chisora and "misjudged" the count and he blatantly dived against Wilder,I don't think he cheated I just question his heart when he gets hurt
I think Ortiz will KO Scott in a round but I'd probably rather Malik won because Luis is a dirty drug cheating pudendum
I didn't expect it to be big news out there but it was on HBO out there thought more bars would of carried it than did.mickey1975 wrote:It was a big domestic clash. Be interesting to see Ortiz weight on Friday. He was a career high of 243 lbs last time out. Wouldn't wanna see him any heavier. He was 239 against Jennings and I thought he looked a bit sluggish carrying that mid rounds. He's 38 in March so surely it's this then title shot?keithmoonhangover wrote:I've liked Ortiz for years and he's a beast, but I think Malik Scott has the right style to cause him problems.
