David Haye is the latest name to be linked with an Anthony Joshua super-fight after negotiations with Wladimir Klitschko reportedly broke down.

“Haye is in line for some kind of WBA strap and he wants to fight for that,” Hearn said.

“He’s also, I believe, done a deal with allegedly, so that’s why that fight ain’t gonna happen for December 10.

“I 100% want that fight to happen next year but Haye is waiting, like we all are, so who knows?”

Perhaps to keep him out of the way? Maybe use him to knock the wind out of the sails of a few who might threaten Joshua?
