Don't be surprised if we get it on Ringside next week. Sky have shown plenty of these guys over the last year or so.

For some reason I've never found Freitas that attractive to watch. Must be those pigeon feet and the way he clumbsily jumps in and out. But hey it works for him.

even though it's a guaranteed cracker IMO, i think Sky will wait, and if it is one of the fights of the year, they'll show it on ringside a week later or something.

Yeah, Hopkins v Trinidad wasn't shown over here either....

And that fight happened in September 2001, just before Sky started showing regular US shows again. They kicked off with Tszyu v Judah, followed by Mayweather v Chavez.

I e-mailed SKY about the Corrales vs Freitas fight about a week ago but have recieved no reply.

I'm thinking maybe they're trying to strike a laat minute deal to show it as on the website it says "details to be confirmed". This gives me the impression that there is a possibility of it being shown, hence them not replying yet to your email.

I've predicted Corrales by decision. I think he will box like he did against Cassamayor.

Two chinny bangers! Sounds like a great fight, i am picking Freitas by mid fight KO. I have followed his career closely right from the start and must root for my man However it could go either way as both can hit and both can be hurt. Freitas has gone backwards technically though lately and seems to rely more on power than precision like he used to...see Barrios and Grigorian fights for proof of that. Against Grigorian he was throwing wild hooks from waist height, i hope Suarez has got him back to his old ways otherwise it wil be suicide fighting like that against Corrales.

One thing you can be sure of, Corrales is going to get knocked down.
Casamayor is not a big puncher, but he managed it about 4 times.

But credit to Diego, he always gets up and fires back. One of the most dangerous fighters you can meet. He'll probably floor the Brazilian once or twice, but I think Freitas might be the more sturdy of the two, and will eventualy catch Diego with a big right hand.

Wouldn't bet on this one though.

Exactly what i've gone for, although i reckon that both men will be on the floor at some stage. It's not a prediction that i've made with any great confidence.

I agree, who the fornicate cares about Enzo Maccarinelli and Scott Harrison when there is a potential fight of the year with WORLD CLASS BOXERS like Corrales and Freitas. It's depressing they'd put a domestic fight few care about ahead of two guys who can't take what they dish out. Those bastards piss me off I'm sick of this shit. It's my birthday on Saturday and I don't get to see the fight live. Why don't they take boxing fans more seriously? fornicate cricket and their white clothing give us some respect with the real fights live.

I didn't like Nicky Piper announcing the words "Friday Night Fights". Its been mentioned on here that it is happening, but that really made it sink in.

And the starting time is at 10pm!!! I'm usually out on the town by then or falling asleep in my chair after a hard week at the office by that tim.

I know slightly off topic, but again Eurosport promise Beyer vs Sanavia only for them to change the schedule (on the TV guide) with 15 minutes to go.

Thats the 3rd time now, have they shown this bout at all? At least this time there was a decent match up on as instead (Levin vs Williams) but I'm really getting pissed off at this - I heard it was a close fight and maybe Beyer should have won, but I would like to judge for myself.
