Feeling of dread - Price is going to get Joshua fight

I've generally ignored the posters who suggested this fight looks likely, due to Hearn's previous lack on enthusiasm about the match and the fact Price hasn't had a win worth a bean since the Thompson fights burst his bubble, but it looks like I may have been wrong.

Today, there's an article by Jamie Moore on Sky Sports online about how he likes the match, and "Koogs" is tweeting about how Price would be better than Jennings or Molina.

It's coming...

£16.99 please.

I was afraid of this happening! I'll certainly not be coughing up to watch that tripe!

They made Gavin versus Brook for PPV, so I think this is virtually inevitable at this relatively late stage.

Every Joshua fight from here on in = PPV whether it's David price or Katie price it won't matter.

I predicted so here at the start of the month. Typical british smoke and mirrors matchmaking.

But I shall watch it. In a pub. It interests me more than Brezeale did.

It's sad that Price would actually be Joshua's best win. His one punch KO power makes him a bigger risk than Brezeale.

I'd love it to backfire and for Price to spark him.

PPV is inevitable - Joshua and team will be expecting millions each fight now, or it's off to Uncle Al etc. At least there could be a pretence of a worthy challenger - not one whose best win was Sam Sexton (in 2012).

Same here, I'd rather spent twice the amount on beer in the pub than I would supporting that nonsense by paying for it.

Now that I'd watch just so we could all know if anyone is too big for her!

Not sure How Price is a better opponent than Jennings but then again Kugan has always been a brain dead pudendum. Not quite on a par with Helder but certainly no potential mensa member that's for sure.

We've seen some absolute farces in boxing over the years but this really would be a new low.

What a farce if it ends up being Price. All the more farcical if it's PPV.

Dear God, you cannot charge us for that fight....Price has to be the most undeserving title contender ever? Even when Audley fought Haye he had come off a European win......

It will be PPv , AJ will only fight PPv.

It will be price imo, sky can hype the danger of the price power.. In fact they started this last week!

The PPv money should fund a deep card though.. Silver linings and all that.

It sells though, to football fans and lady's but it sells

Yafai title shot.
Burton vs Buglioni.
Quigg comeback.

Actually, let's just call it £20.

Katie Price would have more chance of winning.

Well, technincally yes. But saying Audley came off a European title win is a bit like saying Charles Martin came off a World Title win. Both were massive flukes.

They better give us an Ortiz WBA fight.

It would be hilarious if it did happen & Price actually won it.

2016 has been a farcical year for boxing & Price winning an HW trinket would top things off.

The IBF could then mandate that Price makes his first defence against Charles Martin in 2017!

It would the battle of the two worst HW trinket holders in history (Michael Bentt excepted)! :-x :brick:

That little arrogant looking pile of toss Helder has a face I'd never tire of slapping!

Dreading seeing price heading to the ring for this one. He looked a bit jittery against that last guy they pulled out the pub for him. These guys like price etc not have any real ambition left? Get out there and get a run of decent wins. Get the confidence up then go for the big fights. Hes too young and still has decent oppertunities before thinking about cash out fights. Annoys the life out me. Him and guys like briggs could be out there building themselves up fighting improving. Instead they hide it out either fighting no hopers or no one waiting on a payday. Price has literally no chance in this fight if its made.

People talk about his power but it wont even come into play will be amazed if he lays a glove on joshua. Far too slow nowadays. He was actually slow to begin with but hes snail pace now with the weight gain. Joshua will take him out in the first two rounds. Or probably even the first. Priceys not even durable.

I was just thinking this. Imagine Eddie's face.

Nice guy though Price is, he's got no chance on this one.
