He shouldn't even be banned for a day.

It is only fair but what's the likelihood of that
Unless it increases pain receptors or something its not a ped and I don't give a toss

He got banned for smoking green in the amateurs so maybe they've taken that into account?

How can recreational drugs be dealt with such severe punishments when countless cases of known performance enhancing drug cheats walk away with minimal or no punishment.
Don't get me wrong I do not condone drug use in sport, but this is more likely to decrease performance than enhance it.

Exactly. It's an utter joke. 6 months for performance enhancing but years for something that is only going to harm you?

Absolute disgrace, I amnt keen on slowey to be honest but the man has told them of the circumstances and problems in general life and they have exerted a really big ban on him for something that was not used as a Ped. Setting a presidence now when Tyson is up. He won't say sorry either

Yeah they should be offering the guy help if he's having problems not binning him for three years! What did Galahad get? Was it only two years for PEDs? The punishments are not befitting of the crimes in these cases! The BBBoC need to sort it out and fast!

Exactly its blatant hypocrisy. 6 month ban max PEDS are far worse as they can harm others not just the user.

I can't see how they can now justify giving Fury a more lenient punishment.
Nevertheless, I'm sure there will be ways around this for Tyson.

I totally agree. Cocaine probably would enhance performance if given in small doses between rounds, but other than that, it is entirely recreational.
Fair enough it's banned, but 3 years for a drug with only very transitory effects is ludicrous.

3 years for Cocaine? That seems ridiculously harsh for a recreational drug! You don't get that kind of time for PED's he vast majority of the time.
There should be a petition or something created for that.

Off topic if Fury doesn't get a 3 year ban himself (which I doubt he will) surely Sloweys legal team could rip that decision apart.

Seems like there are some dinosaurs doing the judging in these cases. Drugs are bad mmmkaaay.
Recreational drugs are so common nowadays, lots of people don't see it that much different to having a pint. 3 years for something he probably did on a night out is ridiculous.

Boxers have a duty to maintain and promote good living and abide by the law too.

Why do we keep voting in the anti-drugs dinosaurs into Parliament then?

Did Slowey change his profile picture on Twitter to him mocked up as Tony Montana with a pile of coke?
3 years is a disgrace when you take into account what PED use usually get,no way Fury gets 3 years and he's been pulled before the board on countless occasions for various things
