Go ahead and laugh at me, but I see a monster inside of his potential that want and has the potential to break out....John David Jackson would be

perfect for him....look what he did with Kovalev. I'm telling you the right trainer and Lemieux will be kicking some serious ass. Teach him so faints

and how to set traps I'm telling you he has it in him! A trainer that will totally refine his arsenal with a distance and range control, jabs to the body

using feints, etc...his exact style of fighting should be like young Cotto. Am a right? Cotto's old style is perfect for David he needs to be more

patient and set up traps watch old Cotto! Perfect the art of left jab..right hand,,,left hook to the liver :box: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=syGlVI2EZQ8

I've always rated Lemieux. He'd slip into the top 5 in most divisions imo. He's a good fighter and yeah, I agree, a change of trainers may do him the world of good.

Lemieux did good jobs vs Gabe Rosado and Hassan N'Dam so he can box a little bit... but not a lot.

I think DLH would love to use him as fodder for CanYellow, but I think that's a risky and tough fight for The redhead... However, Lemieux needs a much better jab and much better footwork.. He feints too big and too exaggerated.. He's not smooth or deceptive enough to be in Cotto's league, although he might well beat him given his size, strength, and power..

Lemieux cuts his left hooks too strongly and throws too hard too often.. You have to take a lot off your punches to land a decent percentage of them on a very good boxer.. It's all timing and form.. HIs right cross isn't a finished weapon and he's way too intent on the KO and hurting his opponent.. Golovkin ripped him with jabs and an assortment of punches from every angle.. Lemieux fell for every feint GGG offered and was lit up ... It was a grand master vs a pawn pusher. So yes.. He needs a new trainer badly because he should be farther along given his raw talent.
