If all the best fights get made, it'll be a good year?

Yip, you're definitely on to something here mate

Sorry, a tad sarcastic.

But you get my point, we start every year with lots of great potential match ups, every boxing mag points to the 10 fights we want to see,

there are always good boxers and there will always be a tantalising wish list.

But come year end, we will always find ourselves looking back and saying perhaps only 30% of the fights we really wanted to see actually transpired.

There is an easy fix, as you point out, just make all the best fights the fans want to see but it would appear the industry does not find it as straight forward as it should

thats boxing business, the worst business in any kind of sport. nothing gets made, if so than to late, very rare obvious mustfights happen, like kovalev-ward
