Pacquiao Wins Controversial Decision

He has that ol school Larry Holmes SNEAKY POWERFUL right hand. When Cherry Picking GOES WRONG! Manny will get his hand raised but from the

public's eye Vargas had him in some major trouble. Plus Vargas in the clinch inside fighting he's very good he makes you work! Manny wins a very

controversial decision. Pacquaio will find himself in some trouble tonight!

Wouldn't shock me at all. Pac is 38, and has over 60 fights and clearly isn't at his peak anymore. It's not unusual for guys at this stage of their careers to lose to guys that they previously would've beaten, but in this case considering in Pacquiao's very last fight he beat Tim Bradley every bit as convincingly as he ever had beaten him, and Bradley thoroughly outboxed Vargas all except for the near KO disaster at the end of the fight, I'd be surprised if he can pull it off against Manny.

But if he did it would in all likelihood be a big KO shot that finished things because I don't see Vargas being able to win a decision over Pac.

Poor Vargas! The curse is on. If he had it in him before, it's gone now.

Edit: What? The pic changed... Vargas is back in business!

Bob Arum recently stated that this is the first time he's seen a full-time politician (i.e. a senator) fit his entire training camp around their 13 hours day job... and this leads me to suspect that Manny has shifted his priorities away from boxing, which could result in either a sub par performance or even an upset.

Whilst I still expect Pacquiao to score a comfortable decision victory, if he isn't in peak fitness for this fight, we could see him be involved in a really tough contest where anything is possible.
