Tougher opponent?

This is the third opponent he has to now prepare for.. with only a few days left as well.

Had a look at lawal and he looks decent but quite small for a middle.

Good replacement at short notice as long as lawal has been training for a fight.

I thought the same, looking at him he could make 154 and this fight is at 168 not bad for short notice though

If boxrec is right then it's listed as being for the WBA Continental Middleweight Title. Seems strange that Murray is now boiling down to middleweight.

Surprised they've got such a decent opponent on such short notice. With it been just a few days for the fight, I thought they'd have dragged out a journeyman.

Didn't George Groves win that title?

"Martin Murray, the most avoided man in the 168 division. You only have to look at the names of people that pulled out of fighting him"

Eddie Hearn - 2016
(I can picture him saying this)

Can you believe he (Smith) turned down a fight with Chavez Jr because "the money wasn't right"

Why on earth he thinks he deserves big money for that fight is a mystery

Little bit disappointed with Martin's performance tonight. Lawal was tough and awkward, buy he may as well have sent Murray a text message to let him know those punches were coming. Murray didn't use his natural advantages well enough and should've really taken Lawal out handily in one of latter rounds.

Ref had a shocker though, an absolute shocker.

Id like to see Lawal fight at MW with a full camp.
Looks talented but very raw. Teak tough.

You mad?

Look at his amazing resume since losing to George Groves lol. He has beaten some real big names and for the likes of Fielding and Chávez Jr to ask to box him is downright insulting.
