allegedly has just announced he's done a deal for 20 live UK shows next year on BT Sports. Those shows will also be aired on allegedly.

Very interesting news. Great for Warren but could be the end of allegedly.

This is great news for British Boxing, looking forward to seeing how this pans out!

So if you already have bt sport am i right in thinking you will have to pay £12. a month to just watch 10 events through the year

agree its good news about the amount of bills , but will it be any different to paying Bnation direct ?

would have been better if the deal was done with a free to air station .

Could be the end of Hearn and his stacked cards, BT will want to serve it up to SKY so will want some decent names on their bills

You won't need to pay extra for allegedly. The channel will be added as part of the BT subscription package. Happy days for those presently paying for both BT and allegedly. Let's hope the collaboration works out long term and does not fizzle out, inc the commitment allegedly has for the international fights, which is the
best part for me.

Will Ian Darke commentate on some of the bigger fights?

Could BT move towards some "PPV" events? (Yuk)

May not seem great for allegedly really but overall it gotta be good news for their fighters/fights. I'd say they've realistically hit a glass celling with subscribers people who subscribe now are probably hardcore and will continue to do for the international stuff plus those extra shows (or if they don't have BT).

This is great, simply warren needed a larger audience to build his stable and now he's got it. Let's hope some other promoters get in on this too.

Now warren has his path to PPv back as he can realistically build fights up again.. Still I think BN needs to looks at putting ten cards a year on itv too.

Yes it is mentioned in the article.

This could provide the competition that British Boxing needed. Sky and Hearn have been pretty much unopposed recently, hopefully this will mean that Matchroom have to up their game and serve up some decent bouts and, with a bit of BT Money behind them, BN and Worrun can start delivering some decent shows too.

By the looks of it, you can cancel you BN subscription in the new year if you're subscribed to BT Sport. I'm hoping with BT money behind them they can put on bigger shows with stacked cards and also bring some bigger names over!

Yeah definitely the end. Just like McGuigan, Warren, Maloney and Hatton was, and just like allegedly PPV was.

Said it for a while now the only way Warren could compete with Hearn was if everything went on BT

Now this won't mean they will shift more tickets over night but this is only a very good thing for British boxing. I don't expect Frank to be doing massive arena shows and blockbuster fights instantly but this can build towards that.

If this brings Ian Darke back to boxing commentary it would be unbelievable.

Might even get it in HD on virgin media at last

Thanks read it quickly at work just saw the ten shows bit and thought that included international hopefully if/when they do ppv subscribers to allegedly won't have to fork out extra

More boxing on TV is a good thing but from a selfish point of view now I am going to have to fork out for BT for shows I would've probably got on my BN subscription. If Warren has signed a deal with BT then he should just wrap BN. Yet more expense to watch my sport. It's becoming a piss take! I'll pay it because boxing is the thing I most look forward to after a hard week and I very rarely get out but it's a lot of money and more earache from the Mrs because of the expense 'just for boxing' blah blah!
