Marco Huck vs Dymtro Kucher

Fight of the weekend for me,stylistically at least, its difficult to say if Huck is on the slide because his career is full of up and down performances,he was fighting well against Glowacki when he lost the title, very nearly had him out of there before getting stopped and his last fight against Afolabi was his most convincing in 4 fights but TBF Ola looked shot to pieces so its hard to tell what Huck has left,Kucher obviously coming off the 1st round KO of Maccarinelli to win the European and send Enzo into retirement, that was the 1st time I'd seen Kucher I think but it was a cracking 2 punch combo to deck Enzo
I love the Cruiserweight,no stars in the division but its jam packed with dangerous, vulnerable fighters who are always willing to fight each other and this is no different,I'm struggling to pick a winner here but I'll go with Kucher via late KO

I fancy Huck to win this on points.
Both tough men but Kucher looks limited to Euro level for me.
I feel Huck has got one good run of wins left in him.

should be a good fight and im really looking forward to it too.
sorry, but ward v kovalev just leaves me cold. ward is probably the most boring fighter in the world and kovalev looked awful last time against a poundshop version of ward. at least huck v kucher will be a proper fight.

Well I think Kucher is better than the bald Polish guy who beat Huck. I'll go for the upset

Naaah Glowacki is still top 5 cruiser for me he just come up against a truly elite fighter in Usyk.
His wins piss on bellews and the only other fighter at the weight I think definitely beats him is Lebedev who is one of my faves at the moment.
Love the cruiserweight division though. In a year of absolute shite the weight class has delivered some really good fights this year. It's mainly because the fighters don't have massive egos and neither do their promoters. Hence they have to fight good opposition to get anywhere.

Did anyone see this one?
A wide UD certainly looks a good win. Suggests Huck is still in the mix.
Did he look as though he could threaten Usyk, Lebedev or Bellew?
I think the Lebedev fight would be one to see and wouldn't mind seeing him rematch Glowacki or even in with Bellend, which could be entertaining

Think he would give Boomer a tough night. He's a savage

I've just watched it. Huck still knows what he needs to do,
I'd really like to see him in with Bellew, I think it would be an interesting and tight affair with Huck taking it by a couple of rounds (trying my best to hold back my anti-Bellew bias here)

116-112 Huck on my card, wasn't as good a fight as I thought it would be,I thought Kucher was brave and game, never stopped coming forward but he just looked a bit short on ideas and lacked imagination, Huck to his credit keeps winning after years of a long, tough career,he didn't look as clinical as he once was though, when he hurt Kucher in the 8th he never really pressed as he once would've, still as I said good win for Huck

Agree with this. I even had the same scores.
I noticed that Huck has always fought in spurts but his time off is longer and he's unable to sustain attacks now.
Unsurprising he's aged quickly with the amount of Wars he's had.
