For 3 + decades we have put up with the media and judges telling us who runs the show.
No longer the case as we all have a voice.

The Russian won albeit a close one and it was very close no question.
Personally judges have been ... well to be subtle not exactly fair have they.
Welcome to the big show Russia ,you now have to deliver from here on in and you will be under intense scrutiny.

I agree that he is without paying attention to the smaller weight divisions. I couldn't tell you really anyone bellow light welter. Kovalev can box, can punch, can move. He's smart and has killer instinct. He's not just a power puncher. people need to give credit to his technique which uses and creates his power. He uses his long limbs and agile frame to generate power. In the rematch he needs to fire more and take more and he will win again more decisively. But I was so impressed what was on display yesterday. He didn't crumble under pressure, he out boxed the "master boxer" who resorted to rough house tactics. Excellent jab. Prob needs to do more body work (at the gym strengthen his core) not that it's soft but that would put the cherry on the top.

I wouldn't say he out boxed Ward but he did win fairly, it was close but what's right is right.

i never cared about judges. i am the judge. kovalev won. yet he is not boxings best.
