Ward didn't win clearly a single round

I rewatched the fight, and couldn't give Ward a single round convincingly, contrary to Kovalev, who won rds 1,2,and 10 in a decisive manner.
Even the 12 th rd should have been a clear Kovalev rd, because he visibly hurt Ward at least twice, but didn't get the credit as Ward immediately came to clinch and survive.
The faces of both fighters at the end said it all.

I think Ward won rounds 11 and 9 convinsingly. Lederman giving Kovalev round 9 is as ridiculous as judges giving round 10 for Ward.

Honestly, I think Kovalev won 1,2,3,4 and 10.
Ward won 5,7,8 and 9.
Very close rounds : 6, 11 and 12.
Anyway, Kovalev was the better one, and he should have been the winner (more aggresive, more clean punches).

it was a very close fight IMO, I watched it twice without scoring and felt both times ward had nicked it which puts me in the minority I suppose

Which is another way of saying if this was a sparring session, you would have preferred to be Ward instead of Kovalev...
Twice.
Yeah right.

You be hurt your opponent, not get hurt, and still lose the round.

it wasn't pretty but fighting "ugly" was the only way ward was gonna get the win, and win or no win I wouldn't of wanted to be ward in that fight, it takes a lot of mental strength to come back from a terrible start and still find a way to get the job done

so taking the 10-8 round in to account he still lost convincingly .

1, 5 and 8 were also Ward rounds but very close to close, imo, second viewing. That adds up to 115-112 Ward. I gave Krusher 2, 4, 6 and 10 with only 2 being clear. That leaves six rounds (3 each) that I believe were close. If you gave Krusher all 6 of those close rounds then the fight would have been scored 115-112 Krusher.
My point is simple; this fight was too close to be called a robbery.

On first viewing I didn't see any clear ward rounds. Sergey clearly won 1,2,310,12.

The things is with clear rounds or close rounds, without a KD ,they all tally up the same
If you have a fight 115-113,the guy with 113 could win 5 clear rounds, maybe even visably hurt his opponent a few times whilst the other guy picks and pokes his way in the rounds he picks up ,still without a knockdown,he losses the fight

Fair enough. We disagree on 1 (which I had for Krusher in realtime), 3 (which I think was one of Ward's clearest rounds), and 12 (which I thought was close in realtime).
I know that you probably won't waste the time to actually watch the fight straight and with the commentary muted, but I am very confident that if you did you would see a far closer fight. Maybe you would still score it for Krusher but you would recognize that this was not a robbery.
But, I could be wrong. Maybe you would score it 120-108.

I'll watch it again, not muted though. Crowd noise helps me concentrate. I'm immune to announcers.

When have I ever denied scoring Ramming Speed v Pac for Ramming Speed by a round? Keep congratulating yourself for revealing nothing, if it inflates your ego.
What is my agenda, other than to argue my position, which happens to act like a stick poking the piglets squealing "ROBBERY!", over and over and over again, like breitbart.com enthusiasts spamming youtube trash or PutinHeads claiming the USA is out to get them over and over until Trump got elected. Now all is right with the USA.
It was not a robbery. 3 or 4 years from now I will still be defending my position as I do the Pac v Bradley 1 decision.

Gotta mute the TV, turn off all the lights, cell phones off, kick everyone out of the house, draw the blinds, meditate, then watch, but limit your blinking...... then it pretty obvious, Ward wins.

Honestly, I'd have to watch again. However, I doubt my view will change much. Most people won't admit it, but I will... when going into a fight of this magnitude, it is hard to go into it unbiased. Most are either pulling for one guy or the other. When it's a close fight, the judging becomes subjective and geared towards what your fighter does right.
You're going to be hard pressed to find a guy who was rooting for Kovalev score that fight for Ward. And on the other side of the coin, you are going to be hard pressed to find a guy who was rooting for Ward that scored it for Kovalev. It's human nature. I was rooting for Kovalev, and so I am taking his effective punching, aggressiveness, and power into more account than Ward's ring generalship and counter punching. Just the nature of the beast.
Most people enjoy Kovalev a lot more than Ward which is why the polls show a higher percentage thinking Kov won the fight.
