This would ba a mismatch. I would have the same chance as Bellew. But, I suppose it will be "big money" for both fighters.

I remember Stevenson had almost killed Bellew. Can you imagine Haye (much heavier and stronger than Stevenson) punching properly ? I am worried about Bellew's health. Although I hope it would be a body shot to finish this "fight".

terrible fight. Haye clearly doesn't want to be a professional boxer any more. is he broke?

Thank goodness that this fight has been announced!
Reading through all of those tearful, bitter and twisted posts about Kovalev's defeat had become incredibly tedious!

This fight does nothing for me. Fair play to the fighters for making a few quid, but as a fan I'm not buying it

There are lots of fights that I'd rather see Haye in and quite a few fights I'd rather see Bellew in. Can't begrudge a payday for Tony I suppose but I won't be going out of my way to watch this.

Bellow reckons Haye is skint.
Haye must think it's Christmas!
Low risk, maximum reward fight which just sums up David's recent career.
The build-up will be far more entertaining.

The more active fighter in Bellew will destroy any ambitions Haye may have of regaining a version of the heavyweight title, Bellew can win this if he takes Haye further than 3 rounds. Which I think he will, Haye is old slow, inactive and doesn't like getting hit. It will be a good victory for Bellew.

After Steve Cunningham lost to Krzysztof Glowacki, with Bellew being considered a top 5 cruiserweight, and with Haye not universally recognized as a top 10 heavyweight, I have no idea why everyone is acting like this is such a mismatch. Back in 2008 when Haye was the #1 cruiserweight, a fight between him and the #3ish cruiserweight would've been pretty respectable and expected to be competitive. But considering that Haye has fallen dramatically in most peoples' estimation since 2008, a fight between him and a top 5 cruiserweight should be seen as even more competitive now.
... that said, I also think that Haye would win.

Bellew is pretty chinny, and Haye is very powerful puncher. I doubt Bellew is able to run away 12 rounds. Very simple....

It will be suicide for Bellew. It shouldn't be longer than 3 rounds. Better opponents for Haye would be Joshua, Wilder or Povetkin, not Bellew for sure, it's waste time.

Haven't read through all the preamble, but I'm assuming Bellew will come up to heavyweight for the fight, and on that basis, Haye will likely murder him.

Agreed; it's an easy fight for Haye.
It doesn't matter that Haye has been inactive & subsequently been feasting on corpses since returning; Bellow will not be able to withstand Haye's punches & he even admits that himself.
Bellow is over estimating his own power & he thinks that all he has to do is connect once & it's all over, but I can't see that.
Bellow will probably need a series of punches to finish Haye & he isn't going to land a series of big punches on Haye, as he isn't quick enough to do that without Haye countering him.

I don't know what to make of this. Haye's two comeback fights weren't real fights at all. His opponents deliberately lost. They were just exhibitions. Is this one supposed to be a real fight or another exhibition?

It's definitely more interesting than Haye's last 2 fights, simply because Bellow might actually try & punch Haye & that will certainly come as a shock to David as nobody has done that to him in almost five years!

Bellew has looked good recently. I'm always interested in division jumps and while I expect haye to win, I think it will be action packed for as long as it goes. I'm not sure why people are calling Tony chinny. he's always shown a lot of heart to me.

Bellew has been dropped several times (Makabu, McKenzie x2, Asijafe, Andrejeves, Stevenson) and was all over the place against old Valery Brudov. He generally recovers well, but he's not too difficult to hurt.

I like Bellew but I think that he gets put to sleep in the first half here or Haye best reretire (again).
