All sorts of claims and counter claims are being made about how many tickets have been sold and how many people will turn up on February 3rd in Adelaide.

If you want to continue arguing against other people's attendance predictions, including the media, the onus is on you to make a prediction of your own. Put up or shut up.

Here are your choice options, and I have purposefully avoided making it a formal poll so as the predictions offered are not anonymous :

35,000 - 40,000 - Grant
30,000 - 35,000 - Lairdy
25,000 - 30,000 - bogan whisperer, convict, Like a Boss
20,000 - 25,000 - DA GOOSE
15,000 - 20,000 - Beltane
10,000 - 15,000 - Clive Patrick Lyons
5,000 - 10,000 - coneye

About 34,5000 attended their first meeting in 2006, and whether people like it or not, there is huge interest in the rematch.

As I've stated previously, I would be surprised if less that 28,000 attend in February.

I could be very wrong of course, but I'm putting a number on the table. Now it is your turn to put a number on the table, if you are game...

30,000-35,000 for me.

25,000 to 30,000 for me. Would not be surprised if it is more.

Regardless of the result. When this fight breaks records for the amount of people watching it... because it obviously DOES matter. You'll have egg on your face! Even though deep down, if you don't go somewhere that has foxtel to watch it, the first thing you'll do when you wake up on February 4, is reach for your phone to check who won the fight... A fight that according to yourself "doesn't matter".

DA GOOSE you have integrity I will always remember that I totally agree with you on this subject the only two good things coming out of this fight is that both fighter's should get payed over's and that my older brother tried to buy two ticket's the best price he could find and that was the bleacher's the price he said was over $300 so $600 for two ticket's he soon knocked that stupid idea on the head

WA is the richest state in Australia and they are still butthurt about Mundine clowning him 10 years ago. It will be more than that the brothels and bars of Adelaide will make a fortune off miners etc in February.

It is almost a given a big crowd will turn up and when Mundine stages his protest during the national anthem they will give him hell. The PPV figure will be interesting. Sydney, Melbourne and Perth will buy up big and that is perhaps part of the strategy for holding the fight in Adelaide.
