Rushed to hospital.

Didn't expect him to be doing this..

Hard to just quit though ain't it. Wish him a quick recovery

I thought it was a bleed on the skull not the brain.

What was he thinking risking his life after what happened? Hope he's alright but that was a downright stupid thing to do.

This interview from just this week actually should answer a lot of questions -

It's sad to be honest

Very very stupid.

But someone as game as Blackwell needs to be saved from himself

So he's had to have a procedure that relieved pressure on the brain.

Thats terrible. He's clearly not in any condition to take blows to the head after the Eubank fight.

Unbelievable news. He looked so fresh in the IFL interviews over the last week or so. Really hope he has no long lasting damage.

the board should conduct a thorough investigation into everyone involved

is Ogogo still doing that show with Charlie Webster on B0xNati0n?
I'd bin him off and put Blackwell in there to give him something to do. That and give him a little punditry work on the small hall shows.
Wouldn't cost W@rren much, it'd keep Blackwell occupied and it would be a good will move aswell.
Everyones a winner...

Have the board made a comment ? - I bet not.

They usually justify not doing anything by saying there needs to be a written complaint before they can act - so they are probably waiting for somebody to fill out a form in triplicate before they even think about (not) doing anything.

What kind of dick would agree to spar him?

Who sparred him?

Which gym was it?

Was there a trainer/coach there and, if so, who was it?

If he's been granted his trainers liscence ,, he may well off just been moving around with someone he's training , showing moves , practicing , and not in a full on spar , thinking it would be ok ..

oh dear, its all very sad.

but lets wait for the details to be released before we criticize.

Of course if nick has been involved in full contact head sparring then he is massively at fault himself as well as the other people who authorized it. however, if, as already stated, nick is just moving round the ring with one of his charges and he has not felt well then its a different matter. even light body sparring would be ok but no head shots.

the human body take 12 months to heal, its as simple as that.

That was my thought. Surely no one would actually do a full contact spar with him.
