What does he mean by this? He already made 70% what else is he asking for? I don't like the way this sounds.....

Remembering his negotiations with Barrera, multiple candidates to be his next opponent and Kovalev himself, I think he will make absolutely ridiculous demands which would be hard for Kovalev to accept.

Apparently they have a rematch clause so can't see what he can demand surely terms for the winner would have been negotiated on that

Duva is even claiming that there is some "neutrality clause" related to the rematch, but it sounds like Ward's team will fight that.

I wouldn't be in the least surprised if Ward gets hacked off by the questioning of the result or by the closeness of the first or by the feeling people shouldn't question him or whatever that leads to him finding a way to never let the rematch come about. Thing is if he doesn't agree what happens? Do he get an L? Nope. Does he lose the belts? Probably not. Does the result of the first fight become a no contest? Nope. So what does he lose if he doesn't do it? Especially if there are no controls in this rematch clause to stop him demanding the champions purse, the choice of this, the choice of that knowing that Kovalev is unlikely to agree. Big problem with rematch clauses, they have to be very tight and in the world bodies' interests to be of real value.

I agree: f*ck Ward. Loma showed what master technician looks like. Ward is just a feather-fisted awkward cheater compared to Loma, and he was outboxed by Kovalev.
