What Haye said

Some say the Haye -Bellow thing was staged , others say i t was good entertainment and not staged , I don't know i'll say this if it was they are both good actors ,, What makes me think it was'nt was the rection from the security ... When Hayes security , a ex ufc fighter i believe went towards Bellow ,, the bald security guy seemed to panic , like he did'nt fancy his chances , screaming don't touch the boxers ect .
I also picked up on what Haye said , in his rant , about Eddie thinking its all about Eddie , which i agree with 100% , anyway , he said after bellow , he'll come for AJ and say what you want , they better get AJ learning fast , because if Haye has it still left in him , he is more than fast enough and capable enough to ko AJ .
Well he said after Bellow , he'll beat Aj and sign others to Hayemaker , who will beat Eddies stars .. and lets face it ,, If he did beat AJ , who has Hearn got left Brooks , and to be honest Brooks has had his big payday very soon he will probably be made to defend against a big name and probably lose ... It could well be that Haye fancies himself has the main man in british boxing , and he is right about Eddie wanting the limelight for himself more than allowing his boxers the sunshine .

I watched several IFL videos today & it all had the feel of watching a mildly amusing mockumentary

more than likely they had a good laugh about it afterwards, its all about getting bums on seats, amazes me how many seasoned boxing fans fall for this stuff every time

I think those remarks about him needing the money definitely upset Haye. But he loves talking and will have enjoyed himself.

I'll try and sum it up in more ways than one. The title of yesterday should have been....
The Only Way Is Matchroom.

He's saying that he is skint and a conman, I think the idea of them getting together for a laugh 3 months before a fight quite far fetched. This might be for a lot of money, but the winner versus humble Ant will be huge.
They are both playing the game and trying to wind each other up. But I don't think they have got round a table to plan the proceedings

"Once i take out your boy im going for Joshua and when i take him out il end your business"
Its pure WWE but im actually likeing Haye here for the first time in years.
Its still a mismatch though that Haye wins with the first punch he lands...be reminicent of the Macoranelli fight

What i got from haye was he is like the rest of us,he wants to watch boxing wether its on tv or youtube but when he does he see's this pompus pr1ck that took over his daddy's good business and it annoys him,it annoys me that he keeps getting his mug on interviews with fighters and say's a load of promotor sh1te like "he/she is the best in the division" or "he/she is so naturally talented" remember he had frampton,he was the best in the division and quigg wouldnt last 4 rounds with him. Quigg signs with eddieroom and frampton leaves and he does the whole promotor sh1te again. Haye was trying to answer things bellend and towey was saying while trying his get what he wanted to say out. He git tag teamed by the two of them. I hope everything haye said comes true cause im sick of getting taken for a ride sky and towey

My instinct is that it was staged....
to some extent (i.e. behind the scenes beforehand it would have been “right, let’s make a good show of this for the media lads”).
But having said that.
- Hearn seemed genuinely annoyed at Haye’s comments about him. You could see it in his face and how he reacted, which was out of the ordinary for him.
Haye seemed genuinely annoyed about references to his financial position.
The scuffle could always be staged, but the reaction of the security seemed genuine.
Bellew of course can have an argument in an empty room, but perhaps there actually is a degree of genuine animosity - mainly just ego driven.

I was exaggerating, but its still all done on purpose with no intent or malice, cmon mate we are not 13 yr old wrestling fans, its called selling a fight and with the PPV percentages they get nowadays who can blame them ? this is early days yet though, theres far more theatrics to come yet off theses 2

Surely its Eddies job to do this.

Jesus, what has haye done recently to suggest he is the 2nd coming of Rocky Marciano?
Beat up two club fighters, we don't know what haye has left and lets face it he has always been a bit chinny also. I hope he fights AJ then we will know if he back up the talk. I am even routing for bellew in this one, I cant recall a boxer who has had more pull outs, his no show against VK, cancellations, then two complete crap joke fights and is now some kind of ATG??? Bollox.
I don't like the way Haye is speaking about hospitals exploding heads and all this bullshit. Show some class.
I used to love haye but he is a bullshit artist, a con man and I hope he gets sparked the fornicate out so I don't have to listen to his un-savoury over hyped shite any longer.

He has a few hundred thousand pounds in his companies, according to the Companies House records. I doubt he's broke.

I thought Haye made a good point in Hearn trying to be bigger than his boxers. I found it funny how Hearn was angrily staring at him for the rest of the press conference

His £100,000 donation to Nick Blackwell would suggest otherwise.

my take:-
haye isn't broke... but lost a bundle due to divorce (60% of wealth at a guess)
no original beef between bellew/haye
yesterdays rant wasn't staged - they aint good enough actors
Haye ko's bellew in first
Haye should keep bringing up Joshua in every press conference to force the fight
i hadn't noticed 'the eddie show' as much before, but now haye has said it, I do think eddie is in danger of not having any boxers with decent profiles as he doesn't let them shine..... might ruin his own business if he doesn't step off the BS abit

This is a good summary. I think Haye has the skills to win in 1st round. But I think it might be similar to Audley. Ko 3. Unless Bellend rushes him then it's Ko 1
