Blimey is quick, very little on it though.

Bellew looks taller than Haye, that's surprising, what's his listed height?

Yeah, I was surprised too. Haye really is quite small for a heavyweight.

It's quite commonly known that Haye's 6'3" is an exaggeration and he is really 6'2". His best fighting weight is probably around 210lb, so yes, he is definitely a small heavyweight by today's standards.

Yes, I'm 6' 2 and a wee bit, and I was just a shade taller than Haye when I stood next to him.

Yeah, he has quite a small frame, he's added a lot of muscle, but essentially he's not a huge man.

Wrote ages ago that most top cruiserweights have a fair chance of winning against Daffy, I knew they were similar back then as well.

You remind me of:

Syntax Error wrote:I'm now starting to worry that this might be Haye Day IV in the offing! :o

All Bellew has to do in weigh in at about 202lbs & we have a fight.

You can envsiage the rhetoric from David; "the public has demanded it!" :witzend:

It must be Christmas every day of the week down at Hayemaker Promotions.
Which was written in may and I 100% agree with Syntax Error

shoot,if I was Tony Bellew I would pull out of the fight,
because more then likely he will lose anyway
and mess up David Haye's comeback a little.
then sue David Haye.
but that sure was a fast right hook tho huh ?

It wasn't a phantom punch.. It landed... Haye didn't throw it hard, but it was to create excitement.. The buildup like the Haye-Chisora fight.. But the Haye-Chisora set-to was serious because Haye was pissed.. Haye won't fck with you.. If you think you're tough he's gonna throw.. He was holding a bottle and he threw that hand at Chisora after smashing him with a left hook.. He put him out.. He didn't throw this hook hard, but he wanted to swat Bellew and he did.

Haye made it personal against Harrison, Chisora, and Bellew... all idiots.

Haye's already been singled out for the Chisora punchup.
He chose not to connect, or he would have had legal troubles.

I think there should be a regulation to prevent boxers touching each other at stare offs.

Only a matter of time before someone gets injured.

A few years ago, Sulaiman Sr could have died during the Lewis Tyson melee.

Was that before or after the public demanded it?

It doesn't matter... No matter who big a fight is -- you make it bigger by creating more publicity around it.

Street justice, eh?

While at it, let's have some knives and guns in there, it will be even more sensational.

I need my juices flowing.

Yes. They are morphing boxing into idiot wrasslin. They actually tell them to stick their noses in each others faces for their cameras at these pre fight hype sessions. There's a video out someplace of an MMA fight in Japan where one guy actually did kiss the other at the hand shake and got KO'd for his trouble...here it is:

I can't stand Haye, and I'm sorry to see him back yet again cluttering up the boxing scene, but re-watching the original video I have to be fair and say it looks like they were both equally guilty of sticking their beaks in, and Bellew was the first to lay hands on Haye. Bellew is well spoken. I'd like to see him win.
