Both prime, is it a wild shootout or clinch filled bore.

Wlad started fast?tiny_acres wrote:I've had a few conversations with Weaver. He is an admitted slow starter. He would tell me how he had to feel out most opponents to even mount an offense.
This would be a disaster against Klitschko.
If Weaver could survive the first 2 rounds he has a chance for a late ko.
But my money would be on Klit
That confused me too. Wladmir was nowhere near being classified as a "fast starter".SaadOffTheDeck wrote:Wlad started fast?tiny_acres wrote:I've had a few conversations with Weaver. He is an admitted slow starter. He would tell me how he had to feel out most opponents to even mount an offense.

I'd say he has multiple wins that mean more than his win over Mercer.Keko wrote:Mercer was way past but and that is better than the other except Byrd.

Lamon Brewster (2nd Fight)
Samuel Peter (1st Fight)
David Haye
Alexander Povetkin
Ruslan Chagaev
I don't necessarily think those guys had a better overall career than Ray Mercer, but they were definitely more dangerous opponents at the time Wlad fought them than Mercer was.
Mercer? Lol, Carl Williams was better than anybody wlad beat.Keko wrote:Maybe, this is true also for Weaver.
Wladimir for me has the biggest wins Mercer and Byrd.
Brewster may have been more shot than Mercer. Aa awful as the fight was from both sides, haye is probably his best win all things considered.gilgamesh wrote:I'd say he has multiple wins that mean more than his win over Mercer.Keko wrote:Mercer was way past but and that is better than the other except Byrd.

He had no a better career than Mercer and Mercer prime is better than this from the fight with Wlad is not better.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:Mercer? Lol, Carl Williams was better than anybody wlad beat.Keko wrote:Maybe, this is true also for Weaver.

Mercer was nowhere near his prime. It's like saying Holmes best win was Ali.Keko wrote:He had no a better career than Mercer and Mercer prime is better than this from the fight with Wlad is not better.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:Mercer? Well maybe you're not a fan, but for me it was ok Mercer.
Byrd is still above.

As he it was the same when he beat Morrison and lost to Klitschko. Normally, he had his best days.BoxBuzz wrote:SaadOffTheDeck wrote:Mercer was nowhere near his prime. It's like saying Holmes best win was Ali.Keko wrote:
